@falconer: Marvel is getting a lot of hate from old fans lately but in reality there's more and more people buying from Marvel. Whereas for DC, it stopped being good after Convergence. Some series are still awesome like Batman or new series like Black Canary but the rest is not so good.
Yeah, these recent events have completely put me off. I like the character-world events, like Court of Owls and Spider-Verse (like I mentioned), but stuff that tries to include literally everything and effects the story lines of most/all of the books is ridiculous, and not in a cool way.
I don't think I read a single new comic last year. Was Spider-Verse last year? That was dumb fun. But most current story lines from Marvel and DC seem like garbage to me. I've been catching up on Azz's Wonder Woman. I know Hawkguy ended last year, I got the HC when it came out so I'll read that at some point this year. I heard it ended well enough.
