This is a weird one. He was 100% villain at the end of his life so I put him on the Villain spreadsheet. But he has more appearances than most villains due to his time as a hero, so he shot up. So is he a major villain due to being a larger character, or a minor villain due to not being one for long then dying?
Last seen in DP v Gambit 2016.
Promoted to Top 200.
Last seen in She-Hulk Annual (2019)
Promoted to Top 200.
Last seen in Killmonger (2019)
Not actually demoted/promoted, just accidentally deleted.
Last seen in Captain Marvel (2019)
Demoted from Top 100 due to low Total Appearances, Appearances per Year.
Last seen in IC: Darkhawk (2018)
Demoted from Top 100 due to low Total Appearances, forced MCU-import nature.
Last seen in Unbeatable SG (2019)
Promoted in replacement of Galactus Heralds.
Re-Demoted to make room for more X-Villains.
Last seen in JJ: Purple Daughter (2019)
Demoted to make room for more X-Villains.
Last seen in Nick Fury (2017)
Demoted to make room for more X-Villains.
Last seen in Champions (2019)
Promoted from below T200 due to respectable numbers.
Last seen in Mr. and Mrs. X (2018)
Promoted from below T200.
As Goblin Knight or King, whichever.
Promoted due to high stats, despite being dead.
Last seen in ASM (2018)
Promoted from below T200.
Last seen in Thor (2019)
Promoted from below T200.
Since he's from an alternate Earth, and technically a Top 80 hero, I didn't think of including him, but he's actually also one of the biggest 616 villains since Secret Wars.
Promoted to Top 100. Later demoted back to T200 due to being replaced by Black Swan, not in movies.
I really wanted to keep her, but she just doesn't have the stats anymore. These days if you're not in the movies, you don't necessarily come back in the 616.
Promoted from below T200.
Demoted from T100.
Demoted from T200, later restored.
Promoted from below T200.
616 version has very few physical appearances, so she has low stats on my spreadsheet, but she feels like an obvious choice. I mean come on, at least 3 huge arcs in 20 years.
Promoted from below T200.
I suspect he has been in T200 before and been demoted, but I can't find evidence. I held off because he's more of a supporting villain than a real combatant, but that was never really a requirement.
Promoted from below T200.
Promoted from below T200.
I suspect she has been in T200 before and been demoted, but I can't find evidence.
Promoted from below T200 to replace the Enforcers.
Horgan has been dead for ages, but if you consider him interchangeable with the Hobgoblin version, then there's always a Melter around.
Promoted from below T200 to replace the Enforcers.
You wouldn't think so, but there's always a Razor-Fist around too.
Edit: Well this guy's star has really risen, haha.
Promoted to T200 to replace the Enforcers.
Exactly like the Maker, I didn't consider him since he's just an alternate Hulk, but he's spent enough time in 616 stories to count.
Demoted from T200, since restored.
Originally I thought of it as more of a thing than a villain, but it still has good enough stats for a T200 slot, just not T100.
Promoted from below T200.
Promoted to T100 in replacement of Galactus Heralds.
Demoted to make room for Black Order. Later re-promoted/switched with Tombstone, but reversed a few hours later after improving spreadsheet.
Still a strong candidate, but I have enough Spider-foes.
Demoted from T100, replaced with Sin.
I really like the T-Mans and I FEEL like they're a major Iron Man foe legacy, but they really haven't appeared all that much. They're in a lot of games/toylines, but not half the ones I count.
Demoted from T200 due to overlap/redundancy with Kang. Late re-promoted/switched with Griffin.
Promoted to T200.
Feels a like a weird, way-too-new addition, but between War of the Realms, Immortal Hulk, and Thor 4 rumours, he's certainly going to be remembered.
Edit: Except that Xemnu ate him and Thor 4 turned out to be Gorr (Thor 4: Thor, Gorr, and More). Still a significant 2010s character, he could very well be back.
Promoted to T200.
Abbott himself isn't an all-timer, but Spymaster, like many Iron Man enemies, is a legacy, so think of Abbott as the face of it.
Promoted to T200.
Never too many X-Villains I guess.
Promoted to T200.
A weird choice, since he's ALMOST only been in Spencer-written books, but between Marauders, my love of the Pym family, and obviously the existence of the movie, why not?
Promoted to T200.
Another weird choice, since they are exclusively used as an example of an obscure D-List villain, but they are used as THE D-List villain so often that the newer version of the Brothers Grimm alone have appeared more times than: Mojo, Grim Reaper, Malekith, Omega Red, Hobgoblin I, Silver Samurai, Purple Man, and NEBULA. Where's the Brothers' 5-movie deal?
Promoted to T100 due to a need for more X-Villains. Later demoted/switched with Stryfe.
Moved from Villains to Neutral Cosmic Beings years ago, now reversed.
Moved from Villains to Neutral Cosmic Beings years ago, now reversed.
Promoted in 2022 due to Mimic being reclassified as non-villain.
A weird case where the main DoFP Nimrod is from an AU, has not appeared that much, and I think just became a model of multiple robots, while the 616 version is basically brand new, but all the Nimrods combined definitely merit inclusion.
