The Demon Clone of Konoha is not one to be trifled with, nowadays anyway. Starting off as a kid with more spunk than talent, or ability, Naruto has shown how dedication to study and perseverance can go a looooong way. Hence why the son of the 4th (who didn't see it coming?) and protector of the Village gets the nod.
