Manga Madness

While they may not be homegrown, the heroes that the Manga's have recently brought to our shores are beasts in their own right.

List items

  • While he may not be the warrior his father is, Gohan is not to be trifled with. Merging the disciplines of his father, and the training of Piccolo have served him well. Mystic Gohan still is my favorite Manga warrior ever.

  • The star of DBZ, he was a hero to an entire generation. His pure heart and powerful kung-fu moves are the stuff of Legend. The consumate hero of the most popular Manga and Anime ever. He def has a spot on da list.

  • Before Ichigo even gave it a shot, Urameshi showed us how far the high school student recruited by to police spirits could go. A powerful contender, it only got better once he got down to his demonic roots.

  • The Demon Clone of Konoha is not one to be trifled with, nowadays anyway. Starting off as a kid with more spunk than talent, or ability, Naruto has shown how dedication to study and perseverance can go a looooong way. Hence why the son of the 4th (who didn't see it coming?) and protector of the Village gets the nod.

  • Ichigo is a beast among the new age of heroes. A kid with spunk, and talent. His exploits are worth exploring. Besides who doesn't wanna be a Super Samurai?

  • The Pirate Captain, while not a serious, is def tons of fun.

  • A consummate slacker, Yoh's journey to Shaman Royalty is one worth the read.

  • An interesting new take on the great flawed master, Jiraiya was a joy to read. An i loved every minute of his star pupil's revenge.
