July 28th 2198 the Western parts of North and South America were hit by massive Tsunamis as a result of mass tectonic plate shifts in the Pacific ocean leaving California completely submerged under water As a result it was revealed that American scientists and government officials had already known for months of these sudden tectonic shifts that had began to occur within the Pacific but withheld this information because they thought it would create nation wide unrest and they were right.
August 4th 2198 after the announcements of July 28th the American public had been in a violent state of unrest it was if the citizens were in a state of anarchy not even the police could stop the endless amounts of riots and violent protests and most of them were assimilating into these riots and protests having lost hope in the government they once served. Without a proper enforcer to contain the public's outrage or enforce the law the citizens were free to do as they pleased as a result the military was called in to bring order putting America under somewhat of a militaristic rule.
August 8th 2198 now that peace was seemingly brought back America had returned to how things once were but these times of peace wouldn't last for long. On this day an event occurred that would be to spark to ignite a fire of revolution on the day the President of the United states of America was Murdered.
August 10th 2198 the assassin was found using a series of video diaries he had recorded revealing his motive that were since become famous on the internet among enthusiasts who the government had described as Anti-American. The Military police and CIA had tracked him to a small Cottage in the mountains of Michigan but all they found was a headless corpse holding a shotgun in its hand with a letter tied to it stating "This is only the beginning" the assassin seemed to have removed all of his teeth and couldn't be identified using dental records but was easily identified buy the serial number of the prosthetic arm he had obtained after it having served his arm in the military. The assassin was identified as Joseph Struse.
August 12th 2198 Vice President Bryce Cordell was dubbed the new President but his induction ceremony was bombed by radicals. The newly dubbed President survived but there were a few casualties among these casualties were many congressmen and the new Presidents son Ashton Cordell
August 18th 2198 at the Funeral of Ashton Cordell which was televised all across America the very radicals that led to his death made a public appearance by hacking into the air waves that were broadcasting the funeral these radicals called themselves the "Revolutionists" and declared themselves an ally of the people and enemy of the government they also spoke of their involvement in the bombing of the Presidents induction ceremony and the death of his son they also sighted Joseph Struse as their leader and founder of their group and depicted him as a martyr
August 20th 2198 after the media takeover that occurred August 18th the government strengthened their militaristic hold on the people to suppress any possibility of an uprising which only led to nationwide protests causing the Military Police to become much more violent
August 25th 2198 Newly appointed Vice President Arthur Camden began to speak out against the actions of the government and the revolutionists becoming a beacon of hope for the oppressed public. After receiving death threats from members of the Revolutionists the President was safeguarded in an undisclosed location after the threat of assassination seemed to have past it was revealed that the revolutionists true intention were not the president himself but what remained of his family his wife Morgan Cordell. She was reported to have been found dead in the oval office nailed to the wall with the words "You will never escape us" written in the brutally murdered first lady's blood
August 29th 2198 after the events of August 25th the President addressed the public he stood on the podium looking into the cameras that were broadcasting his speech across the nation which was now consumed by chaos then quietly spoke the words "Morgan" then pulled out a gun and shot himself
September 2nd 2198 Arthur Camden was announced as the new president of the united states. Camden's Policies would later return America to its former glory.
February 9th 2203 many earthquakes were reported to have simultaneously happened in what was Chile, Canada, Japan, Russia, Africa and Australia. President Camden Consulted with the UN to help the countries that were effected by these disasters
February 12th 2203 Scientists discovered that the mass plate shifts that led to the massive earthquakes that had recently stricken several nations around the world simultaneously were very similar to the tectonic shifts that led to the Tsunami that engulfed California in 2198 with this information they deduced that these shifts in the plates were so strong that they were causing the continents to move
April 20th 2203 on this day massive shifts in the tectonic plates began to move the continents once again but these shifts were much larger and once again simultaneous these shifts caused massive tsunamis, earthquakes and volcano eruptions leaving 1/3 of the human population dead many more injured and civilizations destroyed as a result the continents all converged at one point and began to join together into one gargantuan mass of land this event was called the "Tera Shift"
After the events of the Tera shift countries began to once again establish their borders North America, South America, the UK and Spain joined together to create the Pangaean Alliance Russia, Korea, China and India became known as the Eastern Alliance and Germany along with many of the other smaller European nations, Japan and Australia became the New European Union. Sadly these alliances could not coexist peacefully for long and soon the mad dash for land power and resources became conflict. The Pangaean Alliance and the NEU sought to protect Africa from the Eastern Alliance as they had establish militaristic authority there to take control of Africa's Natural resources because of this the EA declared war on the PA. Though the PA asked for the NEU's assistance they decided to stay neutral. The PA won the war but in the end everyone lost.
