Pick up Essential X-Men Volume 1, and the first couple volumes of Essential Avengers. They're pretty cheap and cover a lot of ground, both with Quicksilver and most of Marvel's important characters. Avengers Academy trades should help a lot too, as Quicksilver was one of the regular cast. Honestly, my favorite version of Quicksilver is from the short-lived Wolverine and the X-Men cartoon.

It wouldn't exactly make him better. But currently, Quicksilver can dodge lightning, outrun radio waves (possibly a writers error, but maybe it wasn't), and cover half the globe in 92 seconds. He also ran from Tibet to Indonesia and back in what appeared to be about a second. Maybe ten seconds tops.

My point is that Quicksilver is as fast as he needs to be right now. Making him faster would be kind of silly. Also, giving him a max speed number seems kind of silly too, unless a Marvel writer really just wants to have Quicksilver outrun the Flash.

Why are all the examples from recent books? The original stories that featured Gwen Stacy are way better, and prove the point that she's the best Spider-Man Girlfriend better as well.

The greediness of this move is just mind boggling. Cancelling an Avengers cartoon to replace it with an Avengers cartoon?

Even if this new cartoon is awesome it's still going to be covered in the stench of Marvel/Disney corporate greed.

I'll still probably watch the pilot though.

I don't care if each issue comes with a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket and the keys to a brand new hovercraft. I won't be buying.

Meh. Iron Man 2 was crap. Iron Man 3 will probably be crap.

I can summarize the plot of the third one already: Action sequence. AC/DC song. Joke. Action sequence. AC/DC song. Joke. Action sequence. Joke. AC/DC song. Joke. AC/DC Song. Action Sequence. Romantic ending.

Just what the Justice League needed, another dude. They should call it the Justdudes League.

Next time Bruce Wayne goes on vacation they should let Barbara Gordon be Batman.

On second thought, why not let Bruce Wayne be Superman? He's the obvious choice. Then Wonder Woman could be Batman, Superman can be the Hulk, the Hulk can be Rick Jones and Rick Jones can be the Tick.
