New Star Wars Legacy Series

No Caption Provided

I just heard about this NOW. I always wondered what happened to Han and Leia's family in Legacy. But it's interesting seeing how Jaina Solo supposedly married Jagged Fel (in the novel Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse), wouldn't that make Marasiah Fel the main character in this new series?

But then again, It could be Jacen Solo and Tenel Ka Djo future children....

Thoughts? I'm just glad Legacy is coming back.

How many people have Spider-Man/Peter kissed?

I'm just curious. Many women in Marvel find him annoying most of the time, but also charming as well. The people I know are:

Mary Jane

Gwen Stacy

Carlie Cooper

Black Cat

Betty Brant

Adriana Soria

Jill Stacy

Silver Sable

Jonah J Jameson

Michelle Gonzales

Sarah Stacy

Black Widow

Blue Alien Chick

Debra Whitman

That's all I can think off. Anybody can think of anyone else? I want to keep this towards the mainstream version. Pictures are optional, but not necessary.

I need some help...

WELP, since X-23 is being cancelled, I've been thinking about getting into another X-Men series besides Ultimate Comics: X-Men. I've read Wolverine and the X-Men #1 and enjoyed it. I might pick up on that series. However, I really want to get back into Rogue, and I hear that not only is she's in Wolverine and the X-men, but in X-Men Legacy. I need some help in picking out some of Rogue's best stories in the 2000s.
Here's the list of story arcs I have read featuring her:
Messiah Complex
Second Coming
That weird issue of Sentry: Fallen Son
And some of Age of X
I think I want to start over on X-Men Legacy and go from there, but any other suggestions is appreciated. Thanks!

The Death of Boba Fett?

Apparently, Boba Fett is going to die sometime in the near future. In a article by IGN, Boba Fett is getting another mini-series.

Now, most people who only follow the movies think that Boba Fett is dead, but in the Expanded Universe, he pretty much alive. I don't think he's going to die, but it sounds like it could be another great Boba Fett story. Blood Ties was such an awesome mini-series, and I could always use some more Star Wars comics (tho, I really want to see some more Legacy.) Speaking of other Star Wars comics, John Ostrander is writing Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi, that dates from the very early Jedi order.

EDIT: Cover.

Comic books for this week (9-28-11)

I decided to try something new. I'm going to list the comic books I'm interested in for that week (and most likely going to review), and give a quick summary why I'm or you should check this issue out. Honorable mentions are a list of titles I will be also checking out, but not going to review (possibly)

DC Comics:

Blackhawks #1

Why: Well, I'm actually curious about the Blackhawks opperating in the modern day world. Blackhawks were originally a squadron that fought in World War II. I'm a Lady Blackhawk fan thanks to Birds of Prey, and I'm wondering how she will be featured in this version of Blackhawks. This series could fail, because it does seems like a G.I Joe knockoff somewhat.

Justice League Dark #1

Why: Since Zatanna couldn't get an ongoing series in the 52 lineup, THIS is the closest thing to it. However, that's not the only reason why I'm picking this up. This series has some serious potential due to it focusing on magic, the occult, or the supernatural. Besides Zee, there's a great cast of characters such as, Deadman, Shade, Madame Xanadu, Enchantress and even John Constantine. I know Comic Vine member Silkcuts is a huge fan of John Constantine, and I know only a little bit about him compared to Zee, Deadman, and Enchantress, and this book could really get me know and like the other characters I'm not familiar with.

Teen Titans #1

Why: I love Teen Titans. Teen Titans was one of those books where you could jump in at anytime. Now in the new DC universe, I don't know what to expect from this series. I have plenty of questions about some of the original Teen Titans, and I hope somehow that will be addressed in this series. Red Robin was one of those series that I (AND MANY OTHERS) wished would be in the 52 lineup, but this is the closest fans are going to get. I'm still not feeling Drake's new costume, but as long as his personality is in check, I can get pass that.

Marvel Comics:

Amazing Spider-Man# 670

Why: Spider-Island has been fantastic so far in my book. After the reveal in the previous issue, things are heating up. And the Solicit states that someone that we know might die....

Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man #2

Why: Because its still the beginning for Miles Morales. There's still so much we don't know about him personality wise. What will make him be a hero? What challenges will be put in front of him? These are some of the questions that will be answered in the next few issues. If you're a Ultimate Universe fan, this series should be on your list.

Ultimate Comics: Ultimates #2

Why: The Ultimate Universe is quite different from when it first started. In the first issue, Hickman showed us that the world was on the blink of WWIII or destruction, and while everyone on the Ultimates are trying to do their part, Captain America is missing! Almost anything can happen in that series.

Venom #7

Why: Venom vs Anti-Venom. What else? But seriously, Venom is doing a good job being part of Spider-Island.

Honorable mentions:

All-Star Western #1

The Flash #1

Superman #1

Kickass #4

FF #9

FF 50 Fantastic Years #1

Coming soon in Ultimate Comics Spider-man #3 teaser

This is the start of Miles' heroism. Despite a small teaser, I'm pretty excited by it. The thing that was lacking in the first issue was that I didn't really get a sense of Miles' personality, but seeing this teaser, it seems like he does have a sense of what's right and wrong.

Will Betty Brant die in Spider-Island?

It's too early to speculate, but I was reading the October solicitations, and Amazing Spider-Man #672 stated that big changes were on the way. Plus, in Venom #8, it stated that, "Flash Thompson suffered a terrible loss". This all comes back to Amazing Spider-Man #670, where in the summary it states,"a long time member of the Spidey cast has to make the ultimate sacrifice..."
October solicitations at here.

Could it be Betty Brant? I'm going to say no, just because of the recent issue of Spider-Man. Plus, the Venom #8 summary could just mean that Betty broke up with Flash. But what do you guys think?

Tim Drake and Cassandra Cain: A possible couple?

I've been thinking a lot lately about these two. Tim Drake and Cassandra Cain are easily my favorite characters in the Bat family. I know around the net people have shipped these two together with artwork and fan-fics. I never really read into possible relationship between the two, because they really just seemed like good friends. But could it possibly lead to something more?

Could this handshake be the start of something more?
Could this handshake be the start of something more?

Let's go back a couple of years. Tim was first introduced to Cassandra during the No Man's Land story. He wasn't exactly too fond of her at first, due to her quiet nature. When Tim teamed up with her in Batgirl #18, Tim confessed to her on why he felt like he's been avoiding her. They both ended up being friends afterward.

After the events of War Games and Identity Crisis, Tim and Cassandra teamed up once more, this time in Bludhaven. Both were dealing with some hard times; Tim, losing his girlfriend, Stephanie Brown in the War Games, and his father in Identity Crisis, while Cassandra lost her best friend, who was Tim's girlfriend. They were both also dealing with some problems with Batman. After dealing with Penguin, the two had an interesting conversation about how to live their own lives. The moment could have ended up differently just because both of them were still somewhat tense. Like how Tim and Wonder Girl shared a moment in Teen Titans after Superboy's death.

And now comes the One Year Later topic. It's this topic that really hint that Cassandra may have had feelings for Tim. When Tim came back from his year long trip with Batman and Dick, he was set-up for the murder of Batgirl by none other than Cassandra. Sometime in the year before, Cassandra became the leader of the League of Assassins, a move a lot of fans still harbor ill feelings about. Cassandra showed some, I don't want to call it attraction, for Tim, but rather a lot of admiration for the Boy Wonder. She even "helped" him in some of his cases. Now, you can argue the fact that Cassandra was drugged  and that wasn't really her talking, but what if it was her true feelings towards Tim she was expressing, but kept them buried deep within her? Tim and Cassandra never talked about those days ever since, but when Nightwing questioned her loyalties when she returned, not only did Batman defended her, but Tim as well.

This all leads to the current events. After Tim became Red Robin and got his own issues straight, he went to see Cassandra in Hong Kong about her being Batgirl, or just to wear a bat symbol. Tim was the only one who really had contact with her, despite under orders of Bruce, but it pretty much established that Tim cares about her. He (along with many other fans) doesn't want her to disappear and she will always have a place with them. She's currently teaming up with her adopted family in Batman: Gates of Gotham. But the one issue I'm looking forward to seeing her in is Red Robin #25.

Red Robin #25
Red Robin #25

This brings me to the real reason of a possible romance or at least confession with the two. If you recall the ending of Red Robin #24, Tim is in a very awkward situation. I wonder how Cassandra will see that as? Considering that she's getting ready to punch Drake on the cover, not so well. Could that be signs of jealously? I kid.

I could be thinking too much on the topic. After all, it probably won't even matter come September, due to the DC relaunch. But wouldn't it be something if Fabian Nicieza pulls something beforehand and totally screw with fans? I do like the relationship Tim is in with Tamara Fox, but I doubt it will last due to his lifestyle and the fact that he lied about Lucius Fox being dead. Cassandra is single currently, and if a possible relationship would occur, Cassandra could keep Tim in line. Tim is starting to become like his mentor when it comes to ladies. It's got to be the costume. Next time, I'll talk about a possible relationship pairing with Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain (I'm kidding).
