Ed Norton Hulked down! What's Marvel gonna think up next?

I've said my piece on Marvel getting rid of Ed Norton. If you like to see my opinion check here:  http://unwrittenduck.tumblr.com/post/803432806/whats-next-marvel

I just hope this doesn't turn out like another Don Cheadle, but I suspect that it will. I was hoping for continuity from Marvel studios, but I'm not really getting that. Of course here lately I haven't liked a lot of choices that Marvel has made.

First Impression of The Amazing Spider-Man "Brand New Day"

I just recently read "Brand New Day" of The Amazing Spider-Man (Issue #546). The main prevailing thought on my mind is the current opinions of  The Amazing Spider-man's story line. Most people I have spoke to have shown a great distaste for it. I haven't read the entire story line yet, but I do plan to and so far I'll be honest that I'm not impressed.

This is actually one of my first encounters with The Amazing Spiderman comic line. I was always a bigger fan of Ultimate Spiderman series to be honest. Still I wanted to try and expand my knowledge of America's favorite Web Crawler after I had an idea for a fanfiction crossover.

My only opinion so far is that Peter Parker is a complete douche. From what I understand, Peter has pretty much given up being Spider-man and is trying to make some sort of point. It was like that moment in Spiderman 2 when Peter lost his powers and tried to live a normal life only to find it wasn't what he thought it was. That's my only opinion about this so far. Perhaps when  I read more on the "Brand New Day" I'll have a better grasp. As of right now though I have a very huge stack to read and my new stuff comes in at the end of this week so I got a lot of catching up to do.
