Thor Odinson is the God of Thunder and Son of Odin. He is arrogant and brash, thinking of himself as superior to all other Asgardians. When he discovered that Frost Giants and Asgardians were at war before, he decided to take it to himself, his brother Loki and his only friends, Lady Sif, Volstagg, Fandral and Hogun to defeat the king of Frost Giants. Loki was able to defeat the Frost Giant, only to be revealed that Loki is a Half-Frost Giant, Half-Asgardian. Loki spiraled into deep madness, while Thor was taken of his Godhood and sent to live in Midgard, also known as "Earth" before going into Odinsleep.

Loki is the son of Laufey and Frigga and Half-Brother of Thor. After Loki discovered this, he spiraled into deep madness since his brother will get the throne, so he asked the help of his former lover, the Enchantress to get revenge against Thor and Odin. He orchestrated the events of Thor's Un-Worthiness and gave normal crook Carl "Crusher" Creel to absorb any material he touches to defeat Thor, and Crusher first absorbs the Destroyer Armour, an Armour created by Odin to protect Asgard from attackers such as Dark Elves or Rock Trolls.

Leader of the Asgardian Army, and lover of Thor, she and the Warriors Three are close friends of Thor.

Amora is the former lover of Loki, however, he rejected her. Amora plays both sides in the conflict alongside Skurge, the Executioner. She was on Earth, masquerading as "Sylvie Lushton", spying on Thor, and she learned that Thor is now with another woman, Jane Foster. She manipulates Sif into attacking Loki, but Loki was able to defeat her. Amora sent Executioner to kill Thor after the Absorbing Man failed. When Executioner was defeated by Thor and restrained by the magical crimsonmbonds of Cytorrak, by the current Sorcerer Supreme, she escaped Asgard to avoid treason, but was captured by Fire Demons, and became a herald of Surtur. Thor stayed on Earth to protect them from threats like Absorbing Man.

Jane Foster was the woman who found Thor on Earth, and helped him, and the two eventually fell in love. Lady Sif became jealous of Jane Foster.

Carl Crusher Creel is an unsuccessful boxer, and was given powers to absorb any material he touches, he was sent by Loki to kill Thor.

Other important Gods include Balder, Thor's younger brother, Volstagg, leader of the Warriors Three, Hogun, a member of the Warriors Three, Fandral, another member of the Warriors Three and Odin, the father of Thor.
Mid-Credits Scene: Loki was seen in World War II, as Baron "Heinrich" Zemo, with his son, Helmut Zemo, the current Baron.
End Credits Scene: In a mountain, we see giant footprints, and then hear a Roar, and see Hulk before the camera fades into black.
