Origin
In New York City, high school student Adam Anderson was at his high school graduation party. His father Harris was leaving , when Harris was kidnapped by a group called the Octagon.
The next day, Adam found out his dad was missing and went to his dad's office. While looking for his dad in his office ,he falls down a trap door. In the room he's in he finds a body of some kind in a cryogenic chamber. A recording of Adam's dad comes on. On the tape Harris explains that the body has no consciousness and that someone can transfer their consciousness in it via a mind helmet. Suddenly a Octagon soldier breaks into the room and tries to kill Adam. Luckily Adam switches his consciousness into the body.
Adam now in the body easily disarms the soldier. Adam learns from the soldier that Harris is in the Octagon's secret base in the Himalayas. Adam flies to the Himalaya's and breaks into the base. Adam fight's the onslaught off guards and rescues his father.
Harris tells him the Octagon wanted him to build a ion compacter. Adam returns to the states and decides to become a superhero called ATOM!
