Batman & Captain America: The Same Person?

As I've been thinking of Batman lately, I've started to think about how much he & another comic book character have in common. That character is Captain America.

- Both were created & first published during the early 20th century (Batman in 1939, Cap in 1941).
- Both have and/or had teenage boys as Sidekicks (Robin & Bucky).
- Both have had sidekicks that had seemingly died in explosions only to have them return years later alive as enemies (Jason Todd as The Red Hood, Bucky as the Winter Solider). There is a difference here: Bucky came back to side of good, Jason has not.
- Both have recently seemingly died themselves but didn't & it was revealed that their "deaths" had something to due with time travel.
- After their "deaths", their original sidekicks stepped up & took on the role their mentor had held (Dick Grayson became Batman, Bucky became Captain America). When the original came back, neither of them had the person give up the role & went on to create a similar role from themselves (Bruce Wayne is now maybe the Batman of the World & Steve Rogers is known as Captain Rogers).
- Both have have last names that could be first names (Wayne & with Cap if you took off a letter: Roger).
- Both use to carry guns during the early part of their careers but don't anymore.
- Both are expertly trained fighters.

About this time in my thought process It sort of broke down into minor comparisons but there was few I thought were interesting. If I think of any more interesting comparisons between them I'll post them.

It's like an addiction. One I can't stop.

I'm slowly plugging away at the quest. It's one where my knowledge of Comics actually come in handy. :)

In a short while I went from being at level 3 to Level 9. I wonder how high the levels go up to? I'll guess I just have to find out.

D-Man 100%
Oh, you're one of those "funny" ha-ha characters? Well at least the rest of us aren't ex-wrestlers turned superheroes with no originality in costume design... (Except for J2) You're D-Man. Why you still exist and G'Nort from the Green Lantern Corps doesn't is a question that will never be answered.
J2
Son of Juggernaut? M2 Universe? Grunge music? Teen Angst? Yes to all of them please! You're alot like the old Spider-Man stories, replaced with a beefy guy. In fact, we're pretty sure all the old spidey scripts were changed slightly to become you're book. Enjoy a Soundgarden or Mud Honey album while you solve your "daddy issues!"

Moonraker
You're Moonraker! Like the movie! You were a member of the oh so memorable Force Works! Well, you really didn't join, you forced your way in with your time control ability.

Foreigner
You're Foreigner! No, not the band, but you were married to Silver Sable once, that's pretty awesome. You're a merc with no special powers. Congrats?

I don't know.

I have yet to find one one that I thought was worth spending tons of money on.

Also: Woo! First response!

In the perfect world...

Where ever & when ever my services would be required I would be out anytime of the day or night.

But then in the real world: I don't know but very few super heroes exist in the real world.

The 3 Geeks

There are a couple of books that I like but the 3 Finger Prints book "The 3 Geeks" holds a special place in my geeky soul.  Writer & Artist, Rich Koslowski just know how to pay homage to comic book nerdom but also know how to make fun of it to.  I know every time I pick up one of those books I know I'm going to see so bit of myself in them. Also, there is going to be some thing that that just makes me laugh & smile.
