Marvel Infinite: The Sensational Spider-Man Cast

So I was inspired to do this from a buddy of mine called RoninReviews, whose making his own lists for titles he's writing for two sites that we're both on. One of them is DC Prime, and the other one is an upcoming one we're excited to start. Starting in March of 2015, me and a few friends of mine, including RoninReviews are making a site which is a sister site to DC Prime called Marvel Infinite. This list here are the characters I'll be using in Year One of my Sensational Spider-Man title. This is what my list currently is. It might change from now till March, but these are the characters I'm using for Year One alone. Years Two and beyond are a completely different story/list.

Here are the characters:

List items

  • Backstory: Peter Parker is born to parents Mary and Richard Parker. Richard is a renowned scientist responsible for the discovery of over a dozen different species of Spiders located in Brazil. When his parents were killed in a plane crash, Peter and his little sister Teresa later moved in with their Aunt May and Uncle Ben. His origin is a bit different, but I'm not revealing all of that just yet.

  • Younger in this universe, around her mid fifties. She and her husband Ben Parker become the legal guardians of Peter and Teresa Parker when their parents die. Has to struggle with being a single guardian once Ben Parker dies.

  • Again, a bit younger in this universe, mid 50s as well. The origins of his death are different, but that's a story for another day.

  • The younger sister of Peter Parker. She grew up with her parents Richard and Mary until they were both killed. She and Peter moved in with their Aunt and Uncle soon after. Since she is the younger sister, Peter is the one person she has to look up to, especially when she becomes a freshman in High School.

  • A High School located in Queens, New York. This is where Peter, Teresa, and the other students go that will be listed of below...

  • Peter's best friend in High School. Their relationship will crumble as Year One goes by. His relationship with his parents (Norman and Emily) is also a bit strained.

  • One of the most popular kids at Midtown High School, and Grade A a-hole to everyone who isn't up on his level. He use to have a friendship with Peter when they were younger, but have grown apart during Middle School. Peter and Flash end up reconciling their friendship by the end of Year One.

  • Peter's best friend in High School. They share the same interest, in that both Peter and Jessica work for the High School's newsroom. They then get an internship at The Daily Bugle. Jessica Jones will eventually get her own title in the future.

  • One of the many popular kids that hang around with Flash. Despite being popular, she acts nothing like her peers do, preferring to study than discussing drama with her friends. She has an attraction to Peter, as Peter does to her.

  • Friends with Flash Thompson. She is hispanic like her Spectacular Spider-Man incarnation is, and also has a younger brother, Mark Allen.

  • Friends with Flash Thompson and others. Considered THE alpha bitch of the school. Not many people like her because of that.

  • Another cool kid that hangs around with Flash and the others. Probably the most friendly out of the group. His father, Joe Roberston, works at the Daily Bugle.

  • As you can see the influences of SSM is strong with this series. Also friends with Flash and the others.

  • Introduced in the middle of Year One. She's set up on a date with Peter through Aunt May, but they don't really hit it off at first. Instead, MJ finds attraction to Flash Thompson. MJ is partially the reason why Flash changes leaves on Peter.

  • In this universe, the Daily Bugle used to be one of the best newspaper publishers in the city. Now, they've changed directions, and they now focus on newscasting and website articles. Here's the staff:

  • President, Head Anchor for the 6 o'clock and 11 o'clock news. Doesn't trust superheroes at all. In fact, he hates them. But he eventually warms up to them as time goes, mostly due to the help of Spider-Man, who is his harshest critic.

  • Producer. Finds Spider-Man to be actually helping out in the city, when the crime rate starts to go down.

  • Assistant to Jameson and a writer for the site. Midtown High alumi, who used to babysit Peter and Teresa when they were younger. Peter had a mega crush on her when he was younger.

  • Award winning writer, both in articles he's published and also a series of books Peter has read and enjoyed. Now works as an editor and writer for the Daily Bugle's website column. His nephew, Phil, also works at the Bugle.

  • Everhart is an anchor for the 12 o'clock news and weekend anchor, and Field Reporter for the weekdays.

  • Field Reporter for the Bugle.

  • Staff Writer. Covers stories involving the criminal empire in NYC, mainly with Silvermane.

  • Virtually the same as it's ever been. Only problem is that the Captain of the department, John Gannon, is being paid off by the crime-lord known as Silvermane. Gannon is nothing but a puppet for Silvermane.

  • Captain of the NYPD. Also leads a team called the Anti-Spider Squad, set up to capture Spider-Man.

  • See above.

  • Father of Gwen Stacy. Starts off as a Lieutenant in Year One. He is one of many officers who find Spider-Man to actually help out with the city's crime, which angers Gannon.

  • Officer Stan Carter also sides with Lieutenant Stacy on the Spider-Man debacle. He sees Spider-Man as a savior that the cities needed for a long time.

  • Detective DeWolff, on the other hand, sides with Captain Gannon, finding Spider-Man to be "brash and immature."

  • Now onto the villains. Silvio Manfredi is the main crime boss in NYC. He has an entire monopoly on the crime business, overpowering men like The Owl. He does this by offering any new gangs in the city a place in his empire. He is the primary antagonist for Year One.

  • Sable Manfredi is the daughter of Silvio, and is his second-in-command when it comes to running the Empire. (Again, very SSM influenced)

  • Joseph Manfredi is the son of Silvio. He is not involved much in the criminal empire, but he still keeps tabs on them.

  • Silvermane's enforcer, and recruiter. He is the one who goes out to any new gangs that have surfaced and offers them the place in the Empire.

  • Silvermane's bodyguard. He's also used to take care of "business". If you've pissed off Silvermane, you're ass is done, because no one survives a battle with Tombstone.

  • A three man mercenary team, hired to take care of incredible tasks. They always get the job done. The Owl gives them the job of taking out Silvermane, until that plan fails because of Spider-Man. Silvermane then offers them a place in his Empire.

  • The leader of the Enforcers, and the groups gunslinger.

  • The teams acrobatic. Likes to use bo-staffs and constantly moves.

  • The brute. Can crush your head with little effort.

  • Herman Schultz forms his own gang called "The Shockers", with him as their leader. After a disastrous battle with Spider-Man, Hammerhead recruits them into Silvermane's Empire.

  • Runs the Rose Gang.

  • Former member of the Rose Gang.

  • Hires the Enforcers to assassinate Silvermane, which doesn't end well. He is one of many crime lords struggling to fight off Silvermane's Empire.

  • Mother to Felicia Hardy. She has an important role in the crime arc in Year One.

  • Not a villain, but her importance to the Crime Arc in Year One is important. When she finds out that her father's murder (Walter Hardy) involved Silvermane, she takes up the mantle of the Cat to try to stop Silvermane once and for all. She also develops a crush on Spider-Man, and as Felicia, she dates Peter Parker for a while, despite being a year older than him.

  • One of the biggest companies in New York City. Oscorp maintains a strong hold on dozens of different business ventures, but their mostly involved in the technology business and research industry. Norman Osborn is the founder, and current C.E.O. of the company.

  • Founder and C.E.O. of Oscorp. Cares more about his company than anything else, including his family. Married to Emily Osborn and has a son; Harry. Suffers from Schizophrenia and minor bipolar disorder.

  • Wife to Norman Osborn. Despite her husband treating his family awful, Emily still shows care to her husband.

  • Minor character in Year One. Works at Oscorp, studying bats.

  • Minor character in Year One. Works at Oscorp in the machines department.

  • Otto Octavius is an anti-social man, who works at Oscorp building a set of eight mechanical arms. When an accident occurs at Oscorp that results in him being crippled from the head down, finding out that Oscorp is not eligible to sue for his damages, Otto goes crazy, and escapes with his arms to plot his revenge against Norman Osborn as... Doctor Octopus.

The test works, only for Gargen to mutate into a half human, half scorpion hybrid, that emits a deadly gas that mutates anyone around him. Causes a biohazard situation in NYC that Spider-Man, Oscorp, and a few others to stop.
