What Comic Books Would I Write

After talking about both Marvel and DC about reboots and books, I thought, "Hey, why don't I talk about what books I would love to write for, for Marvel, DC, IDW, Dark Horse, Top Cow, and my own original stuff.

So, these are the comics I would write, and what the stories I would tell.

Lets start off with DC:
Titles:
Batman:
Yet again, this is the goddamn batman. He's the Chuck Norris of comics, like how Duke Nukem is to video games, or Master Chief to future video games, or Ezio to past... never mind. Since the Reboot has pretty much reset most of the universe, I would love to write a new origin to Two-Face. He's my favorite of the Batman rouges gallery, and writing something as tragic as him, would be epic. I would also love to write a death of the (Insert character) story. Who would it be? The Joker! Yes as crazy as it sounds I would actually kill off Batman's most deadliest and Favorited of all of the rouges gallery. How would I do it? Joker is dieing of a disease and he doesn't have long to live, so he hires Harley Quinn to be his partial henchmen until his death. Sounds cool huh? No? Well F**k you then!  JK
Superman:
I never liked Superman for some reason. He seemed too powerful or he was week all the god damn time! It's like every single enemy has Kriptonite with them. I guess its the underwear that made him so week. :) :(
Anyways, with the new reboot, I would only write about 6 issues for it. I don't know what it would be, but I would have it lead into what some of the Justice League stories i'm gonna tell you.
Justice League:
As mentioned above, the story which leads into a big event I would write would focus on a new villain(Odyssey)  to the universe. He would turn Superman to his side, with Superboy and Supergirl as there only hopes for turning him back to good. The new villain would seemingly disappear and the heroes would think of him dead.
In the aftermath of Superman going evil, then returning to the good side, Cadmus would produce there own versions of the Justice League heroes. Calling the team Justice Force of the Government, they would serve as helpers for the Justice League. Many heroes from the team would also appear as supporting characters to the JL. The team is also introduced to Bruce Wayne's uncle in law, Matthew Wayne, who helped create the Justice Force. The most mysterious of them would be a Batman like hero, dressed up like Tim Burton's Batman suit, with a different mask, not a Batman mask. He would act like The Spider from Ultimate Comics: Avengers. During this, Black Canary and the Birds of Prey would be Justice League members, with Diana(Canary) and Oliver(Green Arrow) in a new relationship. As well with this, Zatanna joins the team, but during a story arc in JLD, she is framed by a mysterious person. A story arc would involve the Justice League fighting the Justice League Dark, ending badly, as the members are captured. It is revealed that Matthew is evil and his Justice Force turns on them and Cadmus. The Justice League then frees the members of JLD and the other heroes fight off the JFG. In the end, Superman melts off Matthew's face, revealing a Odyssey like face. The heroes have killed Matt and most of the JF members with a few, as they turned on the JF learning of there true plan and now wants to join with the JL. The heroes worry now that Odyssey has returned.
Hawk and Dove: like in my last blog, I told how Dove reminded her of myself, and how Hawk reminds me of my friend. I would love the two be together.
Red Hood and the Outlaws: Reading from what I've read from the web, this comic reminds me a lot of Spider-Man. I don't know why, it just does. Maybe its the humor. Not sure what I would want to write about here.
Birds of Prey: I am a fan of Birds of Prey, and I think the new line up looks bad ass! don't know anything else to write here.

Now on to Marvel:
Spider-Man: Since we're not gonna see Peter and Mary Jane back together any time soon, I want to bring back the Gwen Stacy clone that disappeared in the Clone saga. Why not have Peter go out with Her? I wish I had more things to tell here.
Avengers: Now this is what I would do with this. Make a new Avengers team (Captain America, Iron-Man, Captain Britain, Nick Fury, Ms. Marvel, Wasp, Black Widow, Thor(reborn into a Russian guys body)) And have them fight a new team of the Masters of Evil. Then I would have Moonstone join the group, then leave, and then the Hulk would join. I don't really know any other stories for this one either.

IDW:
Transformers: I would write a story of Bumblebee, and he would be killed! Yes, I would kill the BB! Hey, every other Transformer has died more than once, Bumblebee needs to shine now.

Dark Horse:
Star Wars: I would write an alternate universe where all the movies were altered in a way.

Top Cow:
Crossover event: It would be cool to write a cross over event over these characters. I got the idea after looking at a Top Cow artwork by Marc Silvestri of characters from Wanted, Witchblade, Aphrodite, The Darkness and more.

Original Ideas:
The Heroes:
This was an Idea made by me and my friend. The story would be that the government has put humans in experiments where they develop super powers. Two friends escape from 1 of a bunch of them, and tries to find other people who have escaped to recruit them into freeing all the other people.
Mysteries:
A detective is put in task into researching into unknown vigilantes. The detective, decides to kill them after going crazy.
Perfect:
Two couples give birth to a baby with super powers like Superman. The kid grows up unaware of the powers he has. When he discovers them at about 11, he decides to try to be a superhero. His friends, including his two gals, discover of this, as they grow up, and he shows the world who he is. The entire story would tell about his entire life, until his death.

Tell me what comic books you would write.

My thoughts on the DC Reboot

What do I think about DC's Reboot?
At first I was really skeptical about this, and how everyone else would react with this too. After time, I started to accept this, and waited for the rest. From what has happened, The Reboot is doing really well. The first issue of the Justice League sold more than 200,000 copies, and reprints are still coming out.
Now I will say it now, I haven't read any of the new books out. Will I? I hope to start soon. When I do eventually get to read some, I'll tell you what I think of them. For now, these are the titles I'm most interested in.

Justice League: This here is my main excitement here. I always loved the Justice League, mainly because of the shows that brought me into them, Justice League and Unlimited. I'm quite excited of what Geff Johns and Jim Lee do with this series.
Justice League Dark: I'm mostly reading this because of Zatanna really. It stinks that she doesn't have her own series, but high hopes for her own series, as well as her maybe joining the Justice League in the future.
Batman: Now come on, this is the goddamn Batman. There is nothing else saying about this!
Birds of Prey: like JLD, I'm primarily reading this because of Black Canary, and Poison Ivy. High hopes as well for Black Canary with Green Arrow.
Hawk and Dove: I've grown to like these characters, especially Dove, since she kinda relates to my personality.
Red Hood and the Outlaws: Am I the only on who likes Jason Todd? I like him because he was the arrogant asshole when he became Batman's sidekick, although I never liked him as a bad guy. I like him as a neutral character, a Batman but with guns. Besides, in this book, He gets to tap Dick Grayson's Alien Ex ass, Starfire, along with Roy! What a bunch of lucky bastards!
Teen Titans: This on is my least interested her on the list though, Although I think I'll read some of it. Really love Red Robin's new costume.

Tell me what are the books you'll be reading and why?

How I would Reboot Marvel

Since DC's relaunch has been going so well with sales and reviews, many comic book related websites here have been commenting about should Marvel reboot there comics and start fresh. While I preferred Marvel over DC, I'm very interested in picking up many of the titles (Such as Justice League, Justice League Dark, Batman, Birds of Prey, Red Hood and the Outlaws).
But beyond the point, while I like Marvel, I think they'll be at the point where they will lose readers over the over used Events. Seriously! There's like 4 Marvel events each month!
I've constructed what I would do with Marvel if I were to reboot the series.
First off:
FIRE JOE QUESADA!
I feel were at the point where Joe should be fired from Marvel. I mean it feels a little bit ridiculous when the current Editor In Chief feels in less control of Marvel as he is!
Second:
Remove Bendis from Avengers and New Avengers
I neither hate or like Bendis's writing. I enjoyed what I've read from Ultimate Spider-Man. When I picked up the trade from Dark Avengers, I felt his dialog felt a little bit awkward.
I must say, I love the Idea of a Dark Avengers team. Bendis's writing REALLY seems wordy, and almost 75% of his dialog seems awkward. So, I would take him off from Avengers and New Avengers. I feel when he goes on a title, he never leaves the title, with a few exceptions.
Third:
Limit the Events:
I mean Jesus!  How many events come out from this company!? It seems there's not 1 month without an event coming out! I mean we have Fear Itself, Spider-Island, Schism, Children's Crusade, (Well technically its not really a "big event".) And then there's gonna be more! MY GOD!
Forth:
How to Start the New Reboot:
I would "not surprisingly" use a event involving the Scarlet Witch, and many powerful Marvel Characters. I would have the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, New Avengers, and yada yada yada. I don't know what the actual story would be, but I do know the end. I would have the Scarlet Witch grant everyone one wish by everyone. Everyone gives out there wish, and then Scarlet Witch gives out her wish, Kind of like how House of M and Flashpoint are. She would restart most of the Marvel universe when they were back in the old days of Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, and Steve Ditko. I would modernize there stories, rather than get rid of them.

Five:
The Titles:
The titles would be:

Avengers: Written by Me
The Amazing Spider-Man: Also Written by Me
Fantastic 4
X-Men
X-Force
Captain America
The Invincible Iron-Man
Strange Tails
The Incredible Hulk
The Mighty Thor
Heroes for Hire
Wolverine
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Spider-Woman
Moon Knight
Punisher
the list goes on and on.

For the Avengers: I would have them be independent, with the start of the lineup be Iron-Man, Thor, Hulk, Wasp, Ant-Man/Giant-Man, and Nick Fury. Other members that would join would be Captain America, Hawkeye, Mockingbird, Black Panther, Black Widow, Spider-Woman, Ms. Marvel, and Tigra. I would start with HYDRA as the villains.
For Spider-Man: I would release a "Amazing Fantasy's" issue, where Spider-Man was originally first appeared. Spider-Man would go back to High School, then go to College, while fighting modern versions of villains.
For Fantastic Four: I would make them more crazy looking and more crazy with the powers. One difference would be the thing. He's not really a thing, he's more of a Rock-Man really. So with the thing, I would make him super strong, but now his body is now covered in huge scarce all over his body.
For X-Men: I would start up with the original line-up from there first appearances, with there costumes in a modern design like in First Class. I would also in like issue 50 where the X-Men has slightly grown, I would have an X-Men/Avengers cross over.
I'm only going to talk about 1 more.
For Heroes For Hire: I would have the team consist of Luke Cage as there leader, with Jessica Jones, who is a senior in Midtown, Black Cat, Firestar, Iron Fist.

This was long...
What should I discuss on my next talk?
Oh well, comment and ask me what you think.
