Every title here deserved it unfortunately. Yeah, Jordan brought new life to Deathstroke, but the damage was done. I didn't even realize people still bought Firestorm.

In any case, Jordan's doing Superboy now, so that's cool. my main concern is who will be getting their own books when DC is reaching out for even Z-listers like Vibe to fill 52 titles. Cyborg? Martian Manhunter? Shazam? New Secret Six? The Others? I'm excited.

I laughed at the Thunderbolts comment, but did anyone want to like it? It's Way and Steve Dillon.

Green Arrow, though. Considering how the character was ruined by the reboot, it can only get better under Lemire. What that means though is yet to be seen.

Really, Comicvine? That's the joke you come up with? A very possible rape scenario, and you pass it off as silly? Shame on you.

Please get away from the internet.

Normally when I see a low post count I say "welcome," but you're not exactly making a good impression here.

you pretty much summed up my thoughts on it as well.

Kissing is hardly rape. Saying the Comic Vine staffers made a rape joke or condoned rape in ANY way is laughable to anyone who frequents this site or listens to the podcast. You're talking about a group of adults who don't even condone casual sex as per the Young Avengers discussion on last weeks podcast.

Shame on them?

I don't think so.

Shame on you for trolling.

1. You don't know what trolling is

2. I never said they made a rape joke, I never said they condoned rape. I was upset that the reaction to this rape scenario wasn't "there is a good chance there will be a rape in this book, and, especially since it's being played for laughs and shock value, it is horrible and should be condemned", the impression I got from that blurb was that it wasn't being treated as seriously as it should be by the Katzman, who already clarified his feelings both in these comments and in a later article.

3. If anyone's trying to put themselves "on the moral high ground" it's you.

Awesome! I love how Scarrecrow looks in this. Hopefully Soule will do him justice, unlike Batman: TDK.

Also, what's up with Animal Man? Is it ending after 18#

Why would it be ending? Sales are strong, Jeff Lemire is still attached, it's just gonna be a new arc.

Why... Why do you keep giving Scott Lobdell work... I would much rather see Jeff Lemire tackle Raven in JLD, he kills in on supernatural characters.

Does it matter? She was terrible in that movie. She clearly confused "icy" with "wooden"

Honestly, I can't even think about the whole Peter/MJ relationship right now. I honestly believe that this entire run is Slott going "oh no, something terrible is gonna happen... no lol just kidiing"

"Oh no, I'm gonna have Doc Ock kill Peter parker... no lol just kidding"

"Peter won't be Spider-man anymore... NOPE lol here he is, 2 weeks later"

"Peter and MJ are getting back together in a creepy rape scenario... Read on and see how I back-peddle out of this!"

It's just lazy, really.

This might actually be a GOOD Marvel event. Red Hulk makes a lot of sense as one of the key resistance players, he's too much of a military man to surrender. Black Widow too, to an extent. Just wish it happened more than 6 months since AvX.

And 39.9% of comicvine voters shut off their ability to notice plot holes and overwrought dialogue in order to make sucking Chris Nolan's C*** a more pleasant experience. At least Avengers sweeped the awards for almost everything else.
