She's from the 1940s. I wanted something Wonder Womanish without flat out ripping off Wonder Woman
Like Hercules & Perseus she is a warrior.
She has great strength, speed & agility.
She grew up poor & her mother died shortly after she graduated high school. Not long after that her powers started to emerge. Once this happened Hermes, messenger of the gods, told her about what she was & who her father was.
We all know how Zeus likes to come down to Earth & get freaky with mortal women. She has no love for Zeus. She hates him for never helping her & leaving her mother to die. Her reason for becoming a hero is so when she dies she can go to Mount Olympus & kick Zeus' ass.

Her North Star necklace makes it so she can never get lost & can find her way anywhere.
