Ok so I loved Daredevil, obviously not an exact copy of the comic, but the movies arent supposed to be. The elektra movie kinda sucked, as much as i love Jennifer Garner in the role. Ben affleck was a lot better than i figured he would be going in and i thought he did a great job filling the tights. It was a fun movie. The soundtrack was also awesome, contrary to some opinions on this site. The music was some of the best stuff on the radio at the time and had more edge than many movies are willing to do, especially ones aimed at children and nerds. I thought Michael Clark Duncan made a great kingpin, I always hoped he would show up in a spider-flick. The movie had feeling, it pulled you in and made you root for DD. I never understood why it was so disliked by people. Sure i will probably dish out the $10 or so to go see it when it comes out, but it saddens me that we will be revamping what could have been a good series.
well it would be interesting to see a true passing of the torch, keeping Dick as Batman, i mean look at many other superheroes in the DC universe. This actually happens all the time, often though the originals come back years later. Look at Green Lantern or the Flash, these have been great books for years and they have had new people rise up to take on the role, bruce like hal jordan would not be forgotten and will probably return to being batman
I definitly don't see a problem with not having multiplayer in a batman game. However my problem is more with the current trend of focusing mostly on online multiplayer and not creating a lot of options for multiplayer/co-op for people actually at one place. I know the internet is great, i use it daily, but anyone over the age of twenty who played a lot of video game knows that some of the greatest experiences in their video gaming history was playing with friends at home. Now sure the internet opens up more oportunities to test yourself but it is killing one of the great aspects of gaming: gathering together with friends. It sickens me that games with obvious opportunity for this are only offering multiplayer online, look at Left for Dead, it has four characters in the game, yet you can only do a co-op mode, unless you get online and pay the extra internet fee. There needs to be more games for multiplayer at home with one system.
I really hope they dont go with the skinny, Chris Reeves/ B. Routh superman look. I understand using BR to make a sequel of CR, but otherwise superman needs to return to the Strong looking character that he is usually portrayed as. It is one of the much needed changes to the Superman movies.
I still think that Cobie Smulders, from How I Met Your Mother would be a great lois lane. She has shown a depth of acting ability on the show as well as played the strong career journalist/love interest on the show.
well i dont think the new movie is any kind of continuation of Superman Returns, it is going to be a new direction. I also love Erica Durance in Smallville, but i think as far as looking the part Cobie Smulders is better.
@lastdrag0n89: dude im just expressing my thoughts on the matter, i know there is little i can do about it. However if everyone just nodded along there would be no point in opinion blogs or websites like this one that give nerds like us a forum to discuss the comic industry and its good and bad decisions. Now if they dont change their mind about evans i hope he does an amazing job, but i am just stating my opinion in the matter, ON MY BLOG.
OK so i should check my blog more often. First He was not the best part of FF, michael chiklis was a perfect Thing. When they talked about casting the movie he was the only person i could think of for the part. If they Redo FF they are wasting time they had a good cast, and a good story, now granted just like with all comic movies it wasnt perfect, but what can you do. Im just stating that chris evans does not seem like a good choice and i think they should not take people who are already playing part of the same universe and cross them over into other roles. I mean imagine tobey macquire playing ghost rider , or maybe hugh jackman playing black tom cassidy
ok quick comment, the issue was really not about the legitamacy of the rumor, which i just hoped was a rumor, but about jude law and whether he would make a good riddler if they had the riddler in another batman movie,, calm down, p.s. agree about the 3 actor thing
