My Ideal X-Force Roster

I've always believed that X-Force is at its best when it's a black ops/paramilitary team on a mission. My ideal roster reflects that, while paying homage to the great rosters of the past. It's short and sweet, but it packs a lot of power. And there's more than enough room for some interesting interpersonal dynamics.

Led by the time traveling Cable, this team is actively trying to mold the ideal future by eliminating some of the more dangerous elements of the past.

Without further ado, I proudly present my ideal X-Force roster!

List items

  • Cable has always been a man on a mission with a vision for the future. He's the kind of hardened leader you'd follow into the jaws of death.

  • Dark stories need light humor. Deadpool is essentially the heart of the team, and it's where he does the most good.

  • Psylocke is a survivor. You really can't keep her down. She uses her skills and her strength to constantly adapt to new situations. And when you're globetrotting and time-hopping, adaptability is key.

  • Bishop has seen how dark the future can get. He'll do whatever he can to fight for a brighter tomorrow. Just because he's on a team doesn't mean he's a blind follower either. He'll keep Cable in check.

  • The loose cannon. Juggernaut is the only member of this team who hasn't been on X-Force in the past, but his strength and willingness to better himself may just make him X-Force's secret weapon.

  • The team demolitions and explosives expert. Every wetwork team needs one.

  • The team tech expert who can lay the groundwork for all ops.
