One more thing. Where it says, "by Emperor Gonzo Noir," the "by" should be the same font as Gonzo. Am I close on any of this?

On the Run from Savages?
Also, should the price be on the left side?

Ahhhhhhhhhh...I don't know, guys. But u-all still have time to come up with something, since Cover of the Week isn't awarded until Sunday at the earliest. "

I think this era will likely be defined by a manga/anime artist. Katsuhiro Otomo, Akira Toriyama, Masamune Shirow, and CLAMP come to mind.

"   I was just thinking; these pulp images evoke thoughts of a certain era, e.g. the 30's, 40's, and 50's. I wonder, what modern art style will represent our own era?      "
I'd say neo-surrealist stuff a la James Jean and Mark Ryden. "
Darwyn Cooke works for noir stories and Sean Phillips can do noir "
Yeah, but Darwyn and Sean aren't seen as true artists by the "art press" the way that Ryden and Jean are...and guys like Bergey, Saunders and De Soto were in their day. It is the art critics who determine the seminal art of any given era, not the general population. "
Did the art critics validate that old pulp illustration style? Did they consider it the seminal art of that era? Just askin'.
