I don't care how critical your review of BvS would be, at least you would have watched it. I could respect your opinion at that point. No matter what you say to rationalize and defend your position here, the song remains the same - You haven't seen BvS. To critique it in ways that imply you have, or putting it in rank with a bunch of other films that you have seen, is disingenuous. You should just put a disclaimer at the top of your review saying "I HAVE NOT SEEN BVS BUT I KNOW A LOT ABOUT IT FROM REVIEWS, YOUTUBE CLIPS, WIKIPEDIA, AND OTHER PEOPLES OPINIONS". As ridiculous as it is, that's literally what you're doing. At least at that point though, people would understand that the review isn't coming from a fully informed and objective perspective.
But, hey, it's your blog. I just don't understand how you could expect people to take your opinion seriously in matters like this when you aren't even trying to be sincere in the review.
It was a good issue. It lost much of its momentum because we knew the twists and the reveals.
But it still caught me off guard! Because I didn't expect everything to be thrown in, in the first issue. Definitely lives up to the title, action, movement, energy.
My only real complain is the interaction between Lex and Supes.

Yeah, the interaction between them was weirdly uncharacteristic for Superman. I know he doesn't trust Lex at all but he just outright attacked him as well. Though I think the issue was hinting there was more behind that.
Good review. I've seen the movie three times so far and I think i'm settling somewhere between a 7 and an 8. Originally, the score was a lot higher and I deemed it the best CBM so far, but on repeated viewings more issues showed up, specifically Cyclops. I guess I was just happy the character was back in film being played by a great actor, but they made him the bad-boy which is a trait that doesn't really fit.
IMO, it really hasn't been a good year for great CBM's so far. Hopefully SS can be the combo breaker lol

Malone isn't Barbara...IIRC she's still playing an unidentified character. But, from the looks of it, she's probably Cat Grant. It would be cool if she was Barbara though.
