I understand that they are both great and iconic characters, but can a company actual stick to something for once? I only liked two resurrections: Green Lantern and Superman and that was because GL was totally screwed over with that Parallax BS and Superman was just stupid and a huge stunt to make money. I'm not saying that Batman and Captain's death weren't stunts, I'm just saying that they actually meant something. Batman died (not really) killing Darkseid and making him into DC's hero yet again and Captain America's death took everyone by surprise and shaked the Marvel Universe. If you bring them back from death you take away all of the meaning that their death brought and ruin a great story (see death in the family). what's the promblem with Bucky ( also ressurected =P), he's been doing great as Captain America and made a great character out of the winter soldier. Also, can everyone at least give Dick a chance, he's been batman for about a month and everyone's already saying that Bruce Wayne's the only real Batman. Wait at least until a couple story arcs are done before you criticize. Overall I think death in comics are just stupid now, I'm not saying that we should go without the characacters I'm just saying that they should come back as different heroes and killing them are stupid. If companys are just going to bring the characters back there's no point in death all it does is leave readers waiting for the inevitable.

I know it's an odd choice but Bane has come a long way since his beginning. He has managed to use his own strength to win his battles and fought his inner demons to become more powerful. He would be a great mentor with his sense of honor and discipline. He is powerful, a master tactician, and hey, he broke the bat.

That's what I want. I feel that with three years of Dick being Batman and Damien being Robin their characters would have developed enough in that role and make them even stronger in their next roles. Then a a half a year to a year story on Bruce coming back would be great.
