But Captain America was a soldier, trained to kill. Black Widow and Hawkeye are secret agents, who are also trained to kill. Thor is a viking God, a warrior-God, the god of freaking Vikings. Of course he's killed. And Ares was the God of War, he killed millions. So why peg just Wolverine?

Since it involves Thanos, then I want to see Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell) and Adam Warlock, for sure.

I think I remember it being about how DC had all of Marvel's cities plus other cities that didn't exist on Marvel's Earth like Gotham, Metropolis, Coast City, Opal City, and Star City.

@BurningDoom1: Hopefully he'll either be the main baddie of Guardians of the Galaxy or they'll introduce all the Infinity Gems in the next movies (Thor 2, Iron Man 3, etc).

The more I think about it, I really want a Ms. Marvel movie introducing both Carol and Captain Mar-Vell. Or, they could introduce Rick Jones (a character we've never seen before) in the next Hulk (2015) and have him tie into Captain Mar-Vell. Either way, I really want to see Mar-Vell, lol.

I'd be happy with all of those ideas.

***SPOILERS TO AVENGERS FILM AHEAD***

So we know that Thanos will be the major villain in the next movie. What plot do you think they're gonna with? One already established in the comics, or a new one? And if it from an established story, which one? When he tried to snuff out the stars with the Soul Gems? When used the Cosmic Cube to become one with the entire universe? The Infinity Gauntlet affair?

Will we see other cosmic characters like Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Adam Warlock, or (hopefully) Pip the Troll?

Will he enlist the aid of other villains? Gamora, Magus, and Mephisto have been allies of Thanos before.

Man, just thought of Thanos as the villain has me so excited! All the possibilities of the oh-so awesome cosmic corner of the Marvel Universe, brought to the big screen!

Here's my reasoning behind my suggestion of Adam Warlock:

He's supposed to be the peak evolution of humanity and has power enough to fight the likes of Thanos (who's on the list) in hand-to-hand combat. He fights cosmic baddies on a regular basis as well. Captain Marvel and Silver Surfer are his peers. Add the power of the Soul Gem to that, which he's the longtime owner of, and his power increases exponentially.

These the top 10 comic book issues or comic related items I want to add to my collection:

1. All-New Collectors' Edition #58: Superman vs. Shazam!

2. Marvel Two-In-One Annual #2 (Thanos)

3. The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes DVD-ROM Collection

4. Iron Man: 2-Disc Collector's Edition (I know, this is easy to get, I should have it already)

5. Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of the Super-Heroes for Sega Dreamcast

6. Infinity Abyss #1-6

7. The Amazing Spider-Man #300 (I had this one and sold it for party supplies because I was an idiot teenager)

8. Shazam! (1973) #1

9. Superman (1987) #75: Black Bagged Edition

10. Spectacular Spider-Man (1976) #1

These are picks that are reasonably within my reach. I obviously would like to see an Action Comics #1 or Detective Comics #27 in my collection, but chances are that's not gonna happen.

What are yours?

Seriously. I just finished this saga yesterday, and OMG, so freaking good! It's Cosmic Marvel at it's absolute best. I'd put it up there on the list alongside The Infinity Gauntlet and The Dark Phoenix Saga, it was that good, IMO. And classic Jim Starlin artwork.

It was very thought-provoking and entertaining. In addition to introduction The Magus, it also introduces Gamora and Pip The Troll, and gives some insight into what exactly Adam Warlock's Soul Gem is. Plus the appearance of a surprise villain. But the main-event here, is definetly Adam Warlock vs. The Magus. I can't explain it, really, without giving away the story, which is half the magic of reading it: Figuring out the pieces as you go along.

If you're a fan of cosmic stories and super-hero comics in general, I highly recommend picking these issues up. And you better do it while you can. I have a feeling that some of these issues are gonna start rising in value (just go see Avengers to see what I'm talking about, and stay for the end).

It runs in Strange Tales (vol. 1) #178-181, and Warlock (vol. 1) #9-11.
