I love the character of oracle, but I think this is a mistake. Barbara Gordon being oracle was special and made sense. This chapter of the universe seems over, I see no reason why we need a new one now unless it's going to be another moving well written story, not some cosmic entity

I wish, but she's thrown into that Avengers arena so, she can't appear in any books until that ends. Talk about stupid.

I really do think people who like this series do not have attachment to the characters in the Arena. Pity, as the Avengers Academy was an excellent series. I'm upset the best way Marvel could think of to use them and the Runaways was to throw them in this book. Darkhawk being there is only because the writer likes the character so, he's there for absolutely no reason what so ever. But as Darkhawk is on par with Silver Surfer he's overkill and thus the writer assures will not participate in the Arena at all. As for X-23 fans, excuse me! She's probably my favorite character there but not real sure how liking her means anything what so ever.

I admit my confusion here. I mean, one actress says she will not be reading comics. No where did it say Whedon would not be using them or drawing from them but somehow people are taking her comments as Whedon's and making conclusions. Just wait and see.

Honestly, I stopped getting Spider-Man after One Day More. This really is just another reason why I stopped getting it. I mean, Spider-Man makes a deal with the devil, Spider-Man reveals his secret id, spider-man is a clone, and now this. I think the whole Doc Ock as Peter is creepy, passing himself off as someone he's not and pretending he's a hero is idiotic. And the mere idea that the man who killed Peter gets to run free and call himself a hero is not something I really want to read about. So in the end, no. People keep saying Peter will be back, honestly, not if everyone keeps buying this.

Actually, this is normally the case. Batman frequently loses his first encounter cause he hasn't had time to study and learn. I guarantee you, Batman would escape the encounter, go back to the bat cave and when next they meet, Batman would be the victor.

It isn't change people are upset about. People who like this are saying, hey, the book needs some change up, and sure I would definately agree with that, but it's how this happened that upsets me. I mean, Otto killed peter. Pure and simple, no way around it, that's what happened. So now that he feels guilty over it he's suddently a likeable character I should root for? Sorry, no, there is nothing about this character that makes him a hero or someone readers should aspire to. Had this happened a different way, had this been an accident, peter died but he died trying to save otto and it was all just a mishap, sure, maybe this might go over better. But it wasn't, it isn't and I haven't bought a single issue, nor do I plan to.

I see this Green Arrow more akin to the Green Arrow from Long Bow Hunters saga. If you haven't read that limited series pick it up. I must say, yeah, if you still associate Green Arrow with those corny gimmick arrows, you really haven't been paying close attention to him lately. He goes periods where he went away from all special arrows entirely, then returns to some, then leaves, then comes back.

I think you're completely mistaken on this. Gail is vocal on twitter and a highly available talent. DC fired her, most likely because of her comments. Now I've heard she's a sellout, whether she dediced to make those changes or not is completely irrevelant to her re-hiring. It was the backlash of both fans and creators against DC that drove them into a tizzy. Suddenly the editors and powers that be saw dollar signs crashing down around them, feared Batgirl would go from a solid midseller to the next cancellation and knew no writer they got to take over would repair the damage. as a result they were forced into rehiring her. I love how people are accusing her of being a sellout with absolutely no facts, it amuses me.
