Abusive Title #16 - Indie Character's who're great.

Comics about "Indie" characters, that you should read, but probably aren't, because you're reading "Superfluous Batman title #25 - Detective Albatross Learns To Fear The Batman, Because He Hides In Shadows And Is A Bit Gruff"

List items

  • Anna Mercury - Warren Ellis, the first of many. She's a bitch, but good at doing what she does. Also, the Concept is excellent.

    Do It NOW.

  • Fathers Dead. She used to fly spaceships. Is now stuck in a city where all old spaceship pilots live, and is trying to find out who killed her dead.

    Also, LASER QUICK DRAW

  • Massively powerful superheroic entity, fueled by idealistic views and its most probably certifiably insane.

Sounds like a GREAT Warren Ellis comic, and in fact, it is. John is a character who gets bog all in the way of development, and remains brilliant for it.

  • Transversely, Tom Noir, from the same series as John Horus, gets the most face time of all the characters, and it's actually, despite being a drunken and harsh bastard, a very likable and real character.

    Good times.

  • Actually my favourite character from Hellboy and BPRD. Johann gets not that much of a spotlight, but is well rounded and I hope, well loved character. Honestly, he needs to get more of a spotlight, maybe a nice little mini series. Every now and then we get a lovely little one shot, like that one Kev Walker did in Weird Tales.

    Give me more Johann.

  • Bastard Hard SAS Magician.

    'Nuff Said.

  • Reeeeeeeead it.

  • Being turned into a film.

The Central Character is interesting, and the plot's quite engaging. Read.

  • Interesting and compelling female lead, Lucifer is a gorgeous character. Not physically attractive really, just a very nice, "real" character that exists in an interesting world.
