How would you effectively dissuade a 13 year old from watching Ari Aster's horror movies?

Like, I'm in my late 20s and grew up on horror genre content and those movies still freak me out internally because of my own relationship with my family.

Got on the Dean's List, that makes 4/4 for my semesters here. Was really hoping to get on the President's List.

From the Japanese ones or in general? Because I haven't watched any of the Japanese ones.

Carpenter is great, but Psycho, Peeping Tom, and perhaps most importantly, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre are all slashers that predate Halloween.

Huh, didn't even know that those movies were on YouTube. Pretty interesting.

Something that crossed my mind about Carpenter the other day is that he gets a lot of love, many people praise him, but when they mention his movies it's mostly just Halloween or Halloween and The Thing. It's like all of his other movies went under the radar.
