@TheMess1428: Yeppers, I dunno about best friends, but very close friends for sure.

I like this idea, I think you've got all the main bases covered (Bat family, Justice League) but it'd be cool to briefly touch on other lives that were perhaps less important in the DC universe yet Batman had a profound positive impact on. Like Harold or that teen, can't remember her name (Batman sees her when he gets out of the water after the helpicopter crash in RIP), who he meets on the street and gets her a job with Wayne Enterprises.

I've always liked that about Batman, yeah he's on the frontline during alien invasions, but he's also always sticking up for the little guy.

I really enjoyed reading Dick as Batman, and I've read all of the main comics (Morrison's run, Black Mirror, Gates of Gotham).

I was wondering if there was any stories where he worked with other heroes outside the Bat family, like Superman?

I say the end game to all this is Batman has been responsible for saving the WORLD from threats that he was not responsible for (unlike the Joker), so in a sense he's good for Gotham cause Gotham wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Batman.

Just take a look at a villain like Ra's, unlike other Bat villains he has been around for thousands of years so Batman is by no means responsible for him.

I agree his effect on street crime seems to be negligible, only seeming to shift crime from mob bosses like Falconi and Maroney to "freaks" like the Joker and Scarecrow.

Agreed with posters regarding RIP Joker, that was pretty unsettling.

In Grant Morrison's JLA run there was a part where Batman is in a dream where Tim Drake I believe is Batman, he's facing up against an older Joker with greased back hair. I found this brief cameo quite terrifying. He kinda looked similar to the Joker in Kingdom Come.

Hello,

I've been enjoying Geoff John's run on GL and have just finished Agent Orange. I have heard displeasure by the way Blackest Night was collected in the trades and was wondering if anyone had a recommended order. I don't really care about reading the EXACT chronological order, I just want the story to make sense. The trades I have are:

Blackest Night

Blackest Night: Green Lantern

Blackest Night: Green lantern Corps

Blackest Night: Tale of the Corps

Anything missing?
