@captainmarvel4ever: I agree with you in a way. I'm not sure what betrayal of character you mean Perhaps you prefer a harder edge criminal storyline because this Antman/Astonishing Antman is my first encounter with Scott Lang. But basically I find the Family Values angle to be deadly dull and I for one can't wait for this book to end. It has been mildly amusing to complete crap and is one of the reasons I'm dumping most of the Marvel line after current runs.

Black Panther for sure but this list is always a stooge for DC/Marvel. Until I get to the LCS tomorrow I won't know what alternatives came in. I'm surprised anything from Image or Valiant even got mentioned.

Dear God you mean something is about to happen in this book? What a waste of money so far.

Of course as usual the top heavy attention towards DC/Marvel. How about Girl Over Paris or Kong of Skull Island?

I think you have a good point because I too would rather see the development of E2 as long as it's truly different from E1. I agree that Justice Society characters should be developed as E2 based but what I don't get is how we make the concept understandable to the non comics based audience who are the ones who bring the ratings and ticket sales. It introduces a whole new set of characters when the current Arrow/Flash verse is already overloaded. Wildcat wasn't that well thought out the first time around and too rushed which is what I'm afraid is going to happen with others. Let's tease the audience with random Easter eggs.Basically E2 also negates the fact that all of these characters were actually the history of the characters of E1 in some cases which to me would be a better way to go.

@the_impersonator: I disagree with the parallel universe concept because all that does is invite minor spins on our Earth without any real thought toward something truly interesting. Remember Sliders? Seriously endless stories about "let's go fight the Nazi's " "let's go fight at the OK Corral"? That was yesterday's Time Tunnel based on zero budgets, and stock costumes and movie lot sets. Also what is a better Wildcat or other character really mean in this day and age where production teams can do fresh takes on old tropes?

This is the better series to introduce other DC'ers I agree but I think introducing the Butterfly Effect and then ignoring it is pretty lame time travel. I also hope that the time travel portions of storylines start to predominate over the superheros battling supervillains storylines and we get an established Time Team concept. Also Rip should meet himself as DR.Who if they can get the permission to do that it would be hilarious. Imagine the confusion on both their faces and the bickering over who is in charge. With back comments by Purcell. Need to see Cave Carson and Sea Devils show up as well.

The ney sayers on this and other blogs just don't get the fact that this is Arrow Year One. While I feel like you HaydenClaire that the flashbacks should end I think over all the multi layered plots have worked out quite well. It should go back to an adventure/mystery/covert ops type of premise.Let's stay away from introducing too many DC hero's if it's strictly to cross market the next big launch. Product placement ads like that are what killed Smallville. I am looking forward to the appearance of Vigilante however. His street level abilities makes more sense than people with powers. However at the fantasy level the reappearance of (Katana/Classic Shado?)in the land of Dragons and Dino's could be real cool.Hopefully they have a big enough budget for that.

@the_stegman: I think both Talbot's Classic and Modern would've been on my list. The fight between father and son in the burning house was epic and the Chaney version was lifted by Raimi for Darkman. As far as 30 Days of Night goes probably The Howling franchise comes the closest. Not sure if they still hold up today.
