Deadpool Dopplegangers

Deadpool is in theaters in February. I think Deadpool wants to be everyone's Valentine.

I have to admit, I don't know a whole lot about Deadpool. Creators Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld had fun witht he character. Liefeld is a Teen Titans fan. When he showed his Deadpool design to Nicieza, the writer said, "This is Deathstroke from The New Teen Titans." Deathstroke was created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez. Perez worked with David Michelinie, creating Taskmaster...who ended up being both an adversary and an unwilling ally of Deadpool's. Which kind of makes me wonder how many other characters there are like Deadpool. I'd love to hear your suggestions.

Is Deadpool a lot like Lobo? Bane? Doomsday? Venom? Carnage?

  Yeah, this is all part of the "Dead" and "Death" theme. Navy Seal Michael Cray was part of Team 7 and DV8. That's the similarity with Wade Wilson.

  Air Force Colonel Marc Slayton is really a Kherubim lord born in Atlantis. He was part of Team Zero and Team 7 with Deathblow.

  Taskmaster is a lot like Mimic from the pages of Uncanny X-Men, as well as the Avengers adversary the Super-Adaptoid. Which makes him an awful lot like a human version of Amazo.

  Created by T. O. Morrow, the android copies the powers and abilities of the Justice League.

  5. Mimic

  Mimic was an early version of Rogue, able to copy the powers and abilities of the X-Men. From what was seen of Deadpool in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine film, Deadpool was given a lot of different powers and abilities as part of the Weapon X program.
