@billy_batson: i don't get the big deal about Robben's dive. Every countries players dive, Argentina just did. Hulk and Neymar do it all the time. Ronaldo is a master at it.
The first one wasn't a dive, he was tackled twice (one of Mexico's players actually broke his leg there). The second one was a dive and Robben apologized for that (tell me how many players have done that). And the last which got the penalty was a foul. Marquez stepped on his foot but Robben did oversell it.
Mexico was a favorite so that's why it got extra media attention (and they played excellent btw). And then misquoted Robben as well.
@tdk_1997: the thing with him is that he's the Dutch teams pittbull. He's the guy that you kind of like to avoid in a duel :p I suppose Vlaar has a little of that, but it's not the same. He's not as menacing.
Pleasantly surprised about the swiss holding out so long. Didn't expect that.
Personally, i'm rooting for Colombia to be in the final (along with my own country of course). They're playing really well and fun. Netherlands has a pretty big problem now that Nigel de Jong is out. He's not easily replaced.. Actually he can't.
Hmm France won, but Nigeria put up a great fight. I think France played the game too hard with too many fouls though. It should have definitely been a red card.
