The Breakdown:

So that we have the list its a break down time on what is pretty much going to hit the perverbial comic book curb. This part is based on pure speculation based on sales and how well the series can hold itself up on its own.

Batman:Dark Knight or Batman & Robin: With the strain of keeping up with bat titles, one of the biggest for the bat-titles themselves is an actual batman title. There are many out there who are not fans of Damian's character working with bruce. at the same time, Ive gotten complaints on how Dark Knight series fits with the rest of the bat-verse. With Batman and Robin selling more in there first and second issues than batman dark knight, based on sales Dark knight might get the boot if not little later than the others.

Batwing: I was skeptical about a series about african-batman. but the series has shown that having an african batman is needed especially when there is apparently so much violence in one continent. But in terms of sales its first issue was great but has quickly died or people have lost interest in the series. Sales would suggest this bat is going to hit the cave floor maybe within the next couple of months.

Blue Beetle: The series itself has been a big interest to many for its first issue, but to many fans still hold much animosity to this character as it is not Ted Kord, While reading this series it seems to play on some stereo types of latin american characters. This factor might be detouring people from really getting into the series while at the same time few comments have come in that its a series that is really fleshing out the blue beetle character.

Captain Atom: I was expecting more from this series, the story is good, but the character barely holds a match (My Own Opinion), sales seem to suggest this is going to go itself into oblivion and make appearances in other series much like the older Captain Atom, it was a type of character who could not really hold his own for an ongoing series. But hopefully im wrong and the fandom comes through for this title.

Mister Terrific: One of the core flops of this entire list. The character is just terrible by himself, and with those familiar with him in the JSA this was DC's attempt to bring back Mr.Terrific from the Golden Age into the modern. Sale even show no one really had any interest outside of collectors who figured the number 1 issue might be worth something in the future. HA!

Men of War: Sorry to say, though I enjoy the revitalization of Sgt.Rock in a modern telling, its initial sales could not have carried it through the month of october and preliminary sales might suggest it would be going in the not to distant future. Which is a real shame cause as a reader I really enjoyed this series.

Static Shock: Is it just me or is just about any series starring an black hero seem to do poorly in sales? Makes me think they should have went with Steel in terms of a super. Static has had steady sales....low steady sales in the past 3 months. most people who have been reading the series were fans of the tv show back during the early 2000's

OMAC: This Kirby-esque style had not did as well as many would have hoped. it just goes to show that Jack Kirby's name or style does not carry as much weight anymore in the comic universe. another one of the big flops. OMAC is a series much like its predicessors will probably hit the collection shelf in trade paperback or hard cover very soon.

Resurrection Man: The character and powers are very interesting, but its story has been a slow start as it plays out like JJ Abrams LOST series. it runs from event to event without much of a clue to the main character or his powers. though this story seems to suggest something big about the character and a definite build in his powers the series itself has been a big flop in sales and has yet to catch on. While the series has potential it apparently needs time in order to really get the full scope of what it could be.

Fury of Firestorm: Im a bit shocked that this series has not done as well as it should, but at the same time the team of Ethan and Gail have not really done the series justice. Firestorm in on himself is a powerful character that just seems that its trying to be brought down to our level. which is hard. sale seem to suggest a mid to low pace in sales.

That is it on my 10 titles that might get the can. Though this is based on my observation in sales as well as story and characters. Though how I wish they all could stay and everyone was reading all the comics they want. but not everything was meant to stay from this list and we all knew that going in. But everything is different in every other city. DC has to make the hard choice what to cut and what to stay.

In the end if you could pick 10 titles to get the shaft from DC's New 52. What would you pick?
