I've always been wondering, Is Sheik a Boy or a girl? I've went through Zelda forums and this question can't really be answered. is Shiek Male or female?

Right and i saw that too, but in the game, sheik only has two features that reveal that "he" could possibly be Zelda.

Also, all of Zelda's womanly features disappear when she does become Shiek. Also i noticed that the voices between the two don't match, Shiek has a very harsh tone to his while Zelda has a soft and innocent thing going on. LOL maybe i'm just taking it to the extreme. Take note to the lack of defention in Zelda's arm and then the definition in sheiks arm, these are concept art from OOT

It's possible that she hided her identity (such as physical characteristics) even further by using magic. Maybe that's why she never let Link get too close-cause once he did, he would recognize her for who she really was behind the disguise.
Isn't that first concept art from Twilight Princess, though? A different Princess Zelda?
Why is it so hard to understand? Shiek was a girl (Princess Zelda) disguised as a man. Like Twelfth Night or Echo disguised as Ronin. Was Mrs. Doubtfire a woman? No it was a man dressed as a woman.
