The Presidential Guardsman joined the R.E.B.E.L.S. after he escaped the mind control of Lyril Dox. The Guardsman expressed a hatred of L.E.G.I.O.N. and agreed to help Vril Dox take down his son.
After Vril Dox had taken down his son, the Guardsman chose to join L.E.G.I.O.N.
The Guardsman has enhanced strength, durability and speed. Also, he is about 8 feet tall.
The Guardsman carries a baton which he can use as a weapon or a grappling hook.
