All the rumours of Batman 3 has got me thinking a lot about actors/actresses playing supers, and then I thought about PI and who could possibly play her, I've always seen ivy as a late teen character but I'm not sure who could pull the part off.

I really like that idea Emmma Watson would be an amazing fit IMO if they were portraying a young Ivy although ive never seen her in anything without her accent lol

Either who, Watson does not have any Ivy image too her and would be terrible, and she was terrible in the harry potter movies, which afre pretty much the only thing anyone knows her for.
No one has given a good reason why she couldnt do it other than that she is too young...although everyone seems to think she is still the same gir from 2002 which was 7 years ago. She is 19 and she could very well portray Ivy at point in her life when she was young and her powers originated.
I havent heard a single better choice yet...Angelina Jolie? Please she is old, trashy, and can't act to save her life. She looks nothing like Ivy and frankly she would ruin the movie.
As far as actresses go... I'm really not sure... I know of a lovely lady who could certainly pull off her look, but she's a singer... not an actress...
You know Ivy had to be young at some point....she hasnt always been that old. in fact she becomes Poison Ivy at college age....which would be perfectly portrayed by Watson.
Ugh, I hate Scar Jo. In anything. I don't think she's a good actress. Emma Watson does look too young, and I don't think she really has the body for it. She has a little body, not a womans body. I'd say meet in the middle age-wise. I think early twenties would work. It would be appropriate for the story line, I think. Now we just have to find someone to fit the bill. Scar Jo, please no.

I haven't seen it but I'm guessing she plays the same type of character she always plays. She just plays a scene as stoic as Keanu Reeves and then gets involeved with some horny older prick just trying to get a slice without his wife knowing. Did I ballpark it? I mean, all she's here for is just to "screw around." That's it. That's all I've seen her do. If she's tried to give a different approach, then it hasn't shown through. Sorry. Plus I'm sure all you guys are waiting to see her naked. You know it. I know it. That guy over there knows it. Tell me you wouldn't want to at first glance at her, and say,"wow I respect her as an actress." BS! I just had to vent the Scar Jo topic.
I would say Kate Winslet she looks good (with red hair) and she can Act or like Lunacyde said Nicole Kidman looks good (with red hair) and maybe maybe Barrymore lookse nice (with red hair)
Scarlett would be a good choice, if she wasn't already playing Black Widow...
Morena Baccarin is beautiful enough and very talented, but she'd look dreadful with red hair and rumor has it she's being tapped for Wonder Woman...

Oh yes, Eva Green. Stunningly beautiful? Check. Amazing actress? Check. Does femme fatale very, very well? Check. Could pull off red hair? Check, in fact it seems to be her natural color. As long as they don't make it shockingly red, she's perfect.
I'd love to see Emily Blunt as Poison Ivy Dye her hair red, put on an American accent and she's perfect for the role! Emily is a great actress and I think she'd be great as a dark, seductive character Here's a manip I made of her as Poison Ivy, Hope you like it.
Everybody can dye the hair. I just hope it's a good actress who can be as passionless, aggressive, crazy, funny, violent and ironic all at the same time. I don't mean to disrespect Uma Thurman, but I didn't like her interpretation. I don't think it's possible to actors to do a great job with comic characters unless they get to know the original material.
