This week Comic Vine staff writer Mat "Inferiorego" Elfring joins Tony for some talk on AGE OF ULTRON, SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN, ANIMAL MAN and other titles from last week.
@G-Man You wanted input on the spoiler videos. I e-mailed you this before, but thought I would post it. I don't have as much interest in them (the spoiler video). I love the Podcasts, I would love to see a third one. Maybe Sara could do one Invincibly Super podcast? I would love to see a "Random Crap" podcast, 45 minutes talking about a movie or an old story arch or a "Trade of the Week" podcast. You could also expand the three minute expert to 45 minutes, no video needed. Example - All Star Superman. When poeple ask for your favorite superman story you guys always say "All Star Superman." But it would be great to have you guys do 45 minute pre-pared (re-read, little research) talk on All Star. There is my 2 cents, more podcasts. And... Love the podcast!
I haven't tuned into this podcast in quite a few weeks. Seeing how Mat is on. I may actually have to listen in on this one.
I don't have a problem about spoilers in comics, Why would you want a podcast about comics that doesn't talk about what's happening in comics? It would be like listening to an episode commentary before you watched the episode.
Tony, you have to let this Robin thing go. You just gotta. It's ponderous.
Time Drake was Robin. So was Stephanie. I can go down to my local LCBS, buy a back issue and prove it. We've all experienced these stories, what right does this current regime at DC have to tell us otherwise? More importantly, what right do they have to tell the likes of Chuck Dixon that his writing is now insignificant? If DC doesn't have the integrity to make a reboot of this magnitude even slightly fit together, why waste precious hours of life (or podcast) dwelling on it? Continuity is a fallacy. If DC claims Final Crisis din't happen and Batman Inc. is part of their new 52, then it's obvious keeping these books in some sort of order is not top priority.
Now as for spoilers, if you're going to the lengths of checking out comic book sites, twitter feeds, and podcasts, you're looking to hear about the books. Anything is fair game. If you tip toe around significant plot points, then no one wins. However if you're feeling generous, mark the time where you discuss each book and then people can make their own judgement. Also, it turns out spoilers aren't really that big a deal.
@G-Man The cinematic rights to Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are shared by Marvel and Fox, since they're part of both the X-Men and Avengers universes. I don't think either has used them though.

It's possible Quicksilver was the jailed speedster in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Please Please let this New 52 stuff go. It seems like the same exact conversation has happened on 90% of the podcasts for the last year. It might just be that I am just reading the books as if this was the beginning and anything that happened before will be told to me through the comics. Remember DC can say anything but if it isn't written in the comics they can easily change their minds.
Love the podcasts but having the same thing repeated time after time is having me fast forward through those parts.
