    Phaedos

Location » Phaedos appears in 2 issues.

Phaedos was the planet where the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers got their Ninja Ranger powers in Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie. It is not known if Phaedos exists in the TV show's continuity too. The planet is also the home of the ancient ruins of the Ninjetti Temple.

    Short summary describing this location.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Phaedos was on first sight a wasteland planet, but as shown later, there is a vast ocean and also a great jungle, called the Niola Jungle.

The ground is covered with the skeletal remains of those who tried and failed to obtain the Great Power.

There is only one known person living on Phaedos - Dulcea. She is the Master Warrior of Phaedos and guards the planet with her life. There is also a place in the jungle where there are some skeletons of dinosaur-like creatures. When the Rangers cross this place, one of the skeletons comes to life and either tries to eat the Rangers or stop them from reaching the Great Power. It's unclear if it's a reanimated skeleton or if the creature only resembles one to trick its prey and enemies.

The original draft of the script describes eel-like creatures called squirbs.

There are also the Rock Guardians which guard the Temple of Power in the middle of the Niola Jungle. They attack the Rangers and are the toughest to beat before receiving the Great Power.

It is not known exactly where Phaedos is placed in the Milky Way Galaxy, only that the planet was distant and the journey to it takes a lot of power. In an early version of the script, Alpha 5 said it's located somewhere in the Hyperion Constellation.
