Peter is the brother of Nathan Petrelli. He has the ability to mimic and copy anyone's super powers. He can later recall and use these abilities. It hasn't been revealed how many he can copy. Due to his father taking away his abilities, Peter was powerless for a while until he injected himself with a formula that gives him abilities. Now he can only absorb people's powers by touch and he can only have 1 at a time.

they need to differentiate the two and a scar is the best way. They will say that he was to occupied with using his other powers to heal the scar in time...i think
Okay, maybe the Haitian was around, Peter got sliced and couldn't heal. When he got his powers back, the scar stayed since he got it when his powers were dampened.

But what's the deal with surviving the fall from seven stories? My wife was ready to start ripping on the show but luckily they started talking about it and didn't just ignore it. Obviously he at least gets Hiro's space/time power back along with Matt's mind mumbo-jumbo.
I want to know why he talks out of the side of his mouth. Is he trying to sound like Sylvester Stallone? My wife said it was like he had a stroke.
I think i know why peter still has a scar... For the same reason I don't think Ando kills or is trying to kill Hiro in the future... Everything that is predicted that has not been change yet will still happen..Peter gets hurt somehow when he doesn't have his regeneration power yet, most likely before his ability returns in full and he's "holding" onto another power. That being said i believe he will get his power back in full and the reason is because of his future self having them. I think he will get them back 1 out of 2 ways. The first is which i favor the most, is that his ability he has now is his original. Just like everyone's ability evolves as they use them more, claire cant feel pain, parkman can put thoughts in peoples head, and sylar doesn't have to kill anyone if he doesn't want to and can still receive there abilities. So what I'm trying to say is peter will eventually be able to absorb more powers as he gets stronger, who knows how long it took him originally to be able to absorb more then one. <--- this is long story short for more detail message me. OK now to 2, which i doubt, but he will runs across someone with his original ability to absorb others abilities, or maybe even sylar, and then this will allow him to absorb multiple abilities again. Like i said, i find this one unlikely, many flaws in this theory. Please tell me what you think about my opinions... I have no one to talk to about my heroes obsession... lol
