    Biography

Like the old saying, "the apple does not fall far from the tree" Paxton Powers is just like his father. Ruthless, unforgiving, and a murderer he is the current head of Wayne/Powers enterprise. When Derek Powers was shown to be the villain Blight, Derek asked his son to step-in and be the CEO of Wayne/Powers. Finally looking for his big break, Paxton took the challenge. However, he had plans on killing his father so that he can keep the power. He used the 2nd Dark Knight (Terry Mcginnis) to help him. Terry thought that he was just going to throw him into jail and find a cure for his father's condition. Instead, Terry found out quickly about his intensions and stopped Paxton from killing Derek Powers (Blight). The sub was badly damaged and then sank into the sea with Blight inside of it. Blight was said to survive, but was eventually hunted down by Stalker and kept as a trophy.

Later on, Paxton's investments are in trouble because of a vigilante named Vendetta. Vendetta destroyed a shipment that carried cases of a binary power cell battery. The battery holds two inert gases that when combined create an energy source but the casing around the battery is flimsy and if broken, the gases could be released thus making it harmful to consumers. Bruce demands to know why Paxton Powers is still shipping the batteries after board's majority vote decided to have the batteries' production discontinued. Paxton tries to reaasure Bruce that he is abiding by the board's vote and he is having the batteries shipped out by Paxton Powers Delivery Express to Peace Ex Machina Inc, a rival company that is interested in the batteries. Bruce argues even further with Paxton because he is allowing potentially dangerous batteries to be sold to a company that will sell the battery to consumers that could become potential victims and this will lead to liability issues for Wayne-Powers. Paxton pretends to agree with Bruce by saying he will put an end to the commissions to transport the batteries to Peace Ex Machina Inc.

After Bruce leaves, Ms. Winston, who overheard the conversation, tries to consult Paxton that if anyone discovers his hidden connection to Peace Ex Machina Inc then Wayne-Powers will be held liable. She continues by stating that Paxton's father Derek, would have never done something so stupid and Paxton interrupts her by warning Ms. Winston that she should tread carefully the next time she questions his business transactions. Meanwhile, Bruce tells Terry to head to one of Derek Powers' subsidiariy companies that handles manufacturing where Paxton might be handling the batteries' transport.

Terry scopes out a manufacturing warehouse where alot of activity is happening until Ms. Winston arrives on the scene. She presents Jamal, the manager of the warehouse, a forged document from Paxton stating the immediate shut down of all production at this facility. The manager orders his hired help to take the rest of the night off and detains Ms. Winston with Paxton's security. Jamal realized the document was a fake and he received a call from Powers that if Ms. Winston tries to interfere in the production of the batteries then have her taken out.

Ms. Winston escapes the security staff as soon as Terry busts in as Batman. Soon after, Vendetta makes it to the scene and starts tearing the warehouse apart. Ms. Winston returns to her office where she speaks to a plaque that has Derek Powers' name inscribed. She reveals that her exposure to Blight for a long period of time, has given her radioactive abilities but nothing fatal. She promises to the memory of Derek Powers that she will destroy Paxton's operations. Paxton learned of Ms.Winston's interference at the warehouse so he orders his bodyguard Dominic to shoot her. Paxton and his bodyguard leave Winston's body on the outskirts of Gotham. Winston transforms into Vendetta and attacks Paxton at another manufacturing warehouse. Terry protects Paxton from Vendetta as Vendetta tears the warehouse apart. Terry escapes with Paxton as Vendetta breaks a battery and the inert gases combine with flammable gases in the warehouses which causes a huge explosion.

The next day in Paxton's office, Paxton's insurance provider for Wayne-Powers informs Paxton that the damages done to subsidiaries/ warehouses were not covered because their connection to Wayne-Powers Conglomerate was severed before the damage was inflicted. Paxton tries to tell the insurance provider that he did not order a transfer of ownership in regards to the warehouses. The insurance provider expressed their most sincere apology but Paxton will have to pay for the damages out of his own pocket. Suddenly, Ms. Winston walks into his office and Paxton is shocked that she is still alive. Ms. Winston informs Paxton that she was responsible for the transfer of ownership order to Paxton's insurance provider. She also tells Paxton that there are going to be some changes now that Ms. Winston has returned.

Eventually, Paxton puts out a hit on Bruce Wayne. He wanted complete control of the entire company so he hires the Royal Flush Gang to do his bidding. This ended badly for Paxton, he was caught by Terry and thrown into jail. Paxton's downfall gave Bruce complete control of his company once again and he changed the name back to Wayne Enterprises. Eventually, Blight breaks free from his lead casket after Stalker's supposed death which was brought on by Hush Beyond (Dick Grayson's clone). Blight anonymously paid a random attorney to defend Paxton and the parole board was convinced by the attorney's presentation that they granted Paxton an early parole.

Blight's next move was exercise his remaining connections in Wayne Enterprises in order to have Glen Godfrey (a possible connection to Glorious Godfrey) appointed as Wayne Enterprises' new union representative/ negociator. Godfrey orchestrated the termination of the renewed union contract for Wayne Enterprises' employees. Godfrey's interference in the negociations caused Wayne Enterprises employees to go on strike and start a riot outside Wayne Tower. Terry managed to stem the riot and after hearing about Paxton's release from Iron Heights, he decided to tail Paxton in the likely event, Paxton is the person responsible for the chaos at Wayne Enterprises.

Terry also interrogated Paxton's lawyer and learned that Paxton's anonymous benefactor gave Paxton a significant sum of money as well as a penthouse on the northside of Gotham which is referred to as Gentrified Industrial Area. Terry follows Paxton to a warehouse within the area and Paxton informs Terry that his benefactor wanted to meet Paxton at the warehouse. Bruce smelled a set up and told Terry to get himself as well as Paxton out of there. Suddenly, the warehouse explodes and from afar Blight watches with satisfaction in an insulated suit which prevents his irradiated body from emitting radiation on the outside.

Blight's plan is to wait for the stock market to open and after this explosion coupled with the constant rioting, the consumer confidence in Wayne Enterprises will continue drop and the money that Derek Powers had in offshore accounts will rise. However, his plan might not work since Terry saved Paxton from the explosion and Derek's irradiated illness is starting to take its toll on him.
