    An island that was previously ruled by the Ani-Mator, who was working for the group known as The Right, experimenting on Ani-Mates to create hybrid Ani-Mates, such as Bird-Brain.

    During the Fall of the Mutants story arc, the New Mutants along with Bird Brain paid a visit to Paradise, where they were captured by the Ani-Mator. It was here that Cypher was shot and killed by the Ani-Mator as he pushed Wolfsbane out of the way, taking a bullet for her.

    Much later after Cypher was brought back in Necrosha, Cypher had troubles coming to term with his resurrection, which prompted the team to go visit Paradise, giving Cypher some closure.
