    While a successful businessman and part-time hero, Gainsford never forgot his military roots and has donated millions in money and merchandise to aid wounded veterans. Sadly, his nerve endings were virtually fried when he heroically stayed behind during the collapse of the Rift. He lives now in constant pain…but he will never give in to it for as long as there is justice to be done.
