    As well as the innovative Free Lending Library Service, OK organises regular "drink and draw" sessions giving comic fans the chance to meet other fans and discuss their passion over their favourite tipple, with pencils and paper on hand.  There's even a sofa and coffee machine in store so when you have a little time to kill you can sit and read.   
     
    Every year Free Comic Book Day (which is rarely celebrated in the UK) is a cause for celebration in OK Comics, and there are often creator signings for fans. 
     
    Add all this to the staff's passion and knowledge of comics it's easy to see how they've won several local retail awards in the Leeds area and even been nominated for the "Spirit of Comics’ Retail Award" in 2009's Eisners.
