    Northlanders #34 - Metal: War by druid on December 27, 2010

    Brian Wood has written some great stories for this title, but this arc is not one of them. Starting out, "Metal" looked like it had potential, but I became more confused with each subsequent issue. I'm not sure how much of it is the writing and how much is the artwork, but there is a general lack of explanation as to what is going on and why. Characters seem to change behavior, abilities, even size, randomly. Black Karl and Hulda's actions don't make sense and their motivations can only be guess...
