    The Book Of Secrets 0

The Story: Batgirl is trying to apprehend a criminal named Spinebender that brings her to Miami where Nightwing is currently at. The two have a brief team up to take him down. My Thoughts:Nightwing is another series that I continue to look forward to each month. I've so far enjoyed what writer Kyle Higgins has began to do. The basis of this first story arc is intriguing in the sense that it involves Haly's Circus and the added mystery about some secret concerning the circus.  I'm glad Kyle Higgi...

    Nightwing's Type 0

Kyle Higgins has been showing us why Dick Grayson should be Nightwing. He introduced a supporting cast and now we get to see an appearance of Batgirl; and if it's anything like Batgirl #3, things are going to be rough.   THE GOOD: I'm okay with the art. I really like seeing Dick Grayson seeing someone. It makes him seem more human. I also really like how Barbra is presented in this issue. I also really love how this really knows that Batgirl #3, these characters were at odds. I really like them ...

    Spoiler Alert: There's a Damn Shapeshifter 0

The Good: I hate to complain about this later, because overall Trevor McCarthy's art style is just so AWESOME. It's really stylistic, but so full of whipping wild kinetic energy. Everything flows as smooth as animation, and everything just looks SO COOL. I'd love to see McCarthy draw some Batman Beyond. THAT would be a delight. The synch between Nightwing and Batgirl is what's really emphasized this issue. They have such a natural flow with each other, that when they fight together for the first ...

    Nightwing # 4 0

Another so far successful title out the Gotham City Universe. Well There’s some nice love triangle circles going on. I can tell there’s jealousy and curiosity between Barbara Gordon and Raya Vestri. No spoilers however yet it’s been intertaining. Dick Grayson being respectful doesn’t socialize his love life. He’s very content and onward to getting his work done as Nightwing. This book a twist in the villain in this read. We also get to see a great team up with Batgirl and Nightwing in this book,...

Maybe the Timeline was a little rushed 0

We start off with Batgirl in Gotham fighting this new one shot villain named Spinebender. Since this new guy is a Shapeshifter, he gets away from her with some stolen microchips from Q-core. Then we cut to Dick and Raya in bed together discussing the nature of their relationship, whether it's a permanent thing or if Dick will just leave when he solves the mystery. Barbara shows up and the awkward "New girlfriend meets the ex" moment occurs. It's brief and it's funny. After Raya leaves, Babs tell...

A Batgirl and Nightwing team up, Hopefully this one is good 1

This is my video review for Nightwing issue 4. This issue is about Batgirl and Nightwing teaming up to try and defeat Spinebender, but along the way Dick has to deal with own drama in his life. ...

    A tighter DC 0

DC has decided to make their new 52 books fit together a lot better. They continue to do that with Nightwing as Babs shows up and they mention what happened between them in Batgirl #3. Reading between the lines of his internal monologue here and Babs' in Batgirl #3, it looks as though their past love life has been eliminated by the new 52. That aside, this issue was great. It had a good amount of personal story, action, girl jealousy/cattiness, with the only low point being that the circus plot ...

    Hard way it is 0

This issue is a little non-sequitur for the series as whole although it does keep some of the story lines going.  Mostly it serves as a counter visit from Barbara after Dick showed up in her series previously.  The story doesn't have a a very Gotham like feel to it as they are chasing a shapeshifter (albeit they are in Miami) and although I have never been a big fan of the Dick/Barbara romance, it all comes together here pretty well.  Part of it is that there is a decent amount of detecting in h...
