this guy looks almost exactly like spawn
Nightwatch
Character » Nightwatch appears in 51 issues.
After finding a dark costume on the body of his older, slain self, the man known as Dr. Kevin Trench would eventually become the hero Nightwatch.
Spawn anyone?
Nightwatch first appearance was Feb. of 93, Spawn's was May of 92. That's proof of who showed up first.
Every one rips off every one in the comic biz, its the nature of the beast. Some rips offs are actually better than the characters there based of
@The_Madness: Ah, yeah, it is similar. But the design for spawn himself was little more than an amalgamation of previously existing characters. I say rip him off endlessly till Spawn is forgotten. After the first 10 issues of Spawn proper (particular the ones which were written by grade A authors aka NOT Mcfarlane) the series has to be the most convoluted and worst written series in history to go on this long.
..... : "Nightwatch appeared just shortly after Todd McFarlane left Marvel. Marvel must have felt the pressure with success of Spawn and thought “Hey! Let’s make our own Spawn!” The result is a lame Spawn knockoff named Nightwatch. Everything is similar between the two…right down to their “living costume”. Did I mention how lame Nightwatch is?"
I totally agree to this.
Why is this guy even here. Spawn technically exists in the marvel universe in the crossover earth universe. A univers ein marvel where characters from every comic book companies co exist with each other. So super man spawn spuder man optimus prime power rangers, he man, lion o, ben 10, looney toons, and pretty much any other fictional character are all actual people in the universe. Which is kinda cool. So why does marvel need dpawn and Nightwatch.
