    The Dream Master

Nightmare on Elmstreet movies range from good, average, and poor. This goes in the average range I think. The plot comes off of the 3rd movie which I haven't seen so I was a tad confused with the abilities that the girl had in the beginning but I quickly got it. The "dream warriors" from the third movie think they got rid of Freddy but Freddy finds a way back through Kristin's ability to pull others into her dreams. Freddy goes on an onslaught of killing and kills her friends and later her. Unfortunately it doesn't stop there because Kristin brings a new friend in her dreams and this gives her a world of problems for her and her friends. Krueger goes on another killing spree but the one girl realizes she gains the physical, mental,or habit attributes of the friends Freedy kills and she uses this to her advantage and ends up stopping Freddy. Some of the film makes a very strange approach on a horror film though the victim usually isn't supposed to be able to fight back against the monster with physical force like the girl did after absorbing the martial art abilities of her brother it makes it seem more of an action film than horror. The movie was certainly entertaining and interesting though. Freddy perhaps jokes allittle to much in this film but he is supposed to make jokes he's Freddy. Sweet dreams.

One such director was Renny Harlin, and Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master was his turn at the Elm Street franchise. The film perfunctorily kills off all the heroes of the last film in the first few scenes to set the stage for a whole new group of teenagers...
