    I'm reading through it right now, and I'm confused.... At least with the Alfred story... Did this stuff really happen?

    I think it's Bruce imagining things. Hence why Catwoman gave the Robin Hood death, and Alfred's actor story. I think in part 2 there's going to be more stories giving different retellings of Bat's death, and then "Shadowy Mystery Woman" will say what's up. It looks almost like Earth-2 to me (Or some other Elseworld).
