    10-year old Negi Springfield is a magical prodigy and the son of the legendary Thousand Master, a heroic mage who saved the entire world as a Magister Magi and apparently died shortly after Negi's birth. Aspiring to follow in his father's footsteps, Negi seeks to become a Magister Magi himself, but it won't be easy. His first assignment: to become an English teacher at a prestigious all girl's high school in Japan while hiding his magical abilities! But Negi quickly discovers that his class contains more than it's fair share of oddballs such as a robotics genius and her personal science project, an advanced battle android; a 500-year old cursed vampire; a mysterious ninja; a ghost; a gun wielding mercenary; and a time traveling Martian from the future.
