    Michael A. Sheyahshe takes a look at Native Americans as depicted in comic books over the last 60 years with an emphasis on the last 25 years. 

    Both scholarly and humorous with chapter titles such as “Instant Shaman (Just add Indian) and Modern Native American Heroes: Now with 25 Percent Less Feathers. The book gives rundowns and critique on many Native American characters in the comics, from Little Beaver and Tonto to Butcher and Maya “Echo” Lopez, as well as interviewing a number of their creators.
