    Brief History

Stryfe was a madman bent on the domination of mutants over humans. His tactics included the bombing of various government facilities to the conspiracy to the poisoning of entire cities. Early on, the MLF consisted of many members that mostly came into conflict with Cable and the X-Force, as well as a brush with Val Cooper's X-Factor.

Simon Trask, head of the anti-mutant organization known as Humanity's Last Stand, once also created his own version of the MLF, which consisted of artificially-empowered humans who posed as mutant terrorists in order to increase anti-mutant sentiment.

After Operation: Zero Tolerance, MLF disbanded. In the following years, some former members like Reaper, Wildside and Locus were seen or used by the Weapon X Program. Tempo was recruited for the Acolytes and Dragoness was seen on Utopia.

More recently, the MLF was reformed and led by Hope Summers. The team included veteran members and new members, like Bashee. After the creation of Krakoa nation, the members and former members joined.
