As this title says, does anyone else think that Mr. Sinister is behind way too much evil in the Marvel world? I'm starting to think he's the man behind my missing hair brush, black liquid eyeliners and red lipstick.

It seems like too many stories tie into him. I wouldn't mind seeing some new villains or seeing some other villains get a chance to be bad.

Sinister is a kick ass character. He's been around long enough, and is extremely smart. Why not? He knows more about the X-gene and cloning than anybody. I thi nk that marvel hasn't ever reveal half of the things that he's behind. 

He's an evil mastermind. That's his thing. Now he's a hot chick in the Helfire Club...

First time I saw him was on an comic ad about the Inferno storyline drawn by Marc Silvestri and thought we was Colossus gone evil – after I discovered that wasn't the case I never was able to get into him.

certainly not. Sinister is responsible personally for so much in the X-Universe that 
he has earned that credit. he screwed with Xavier. he screwed with the High Evolutionary. he screwed
with Apocalypse. he screwed with Phoenix. he screwed with Darwin (the man, not the mutant), and
on and on. if anything he deserves more, like being a shown threat to the entire Marvel earth itself (he
did erase everyones powers shortly, thats notable). even in another reality, he caused the most powerful
mutant possibly, X-Man to be, and riverbed to 616. and of course the Mutant Massacre. id love to see
a two to three issue with him Vs the Avengers in some fashion. Apocalypse also deserves to be more
relevant as well.

the problem with mr sinister and marvel is that marvel isn't really using him correctly as a villian. he's a mastermind manipulator and most of the stories he's in he doesn't really show that off. you hear about how he did all this stuff but until messiah complex, he hadn't really gotten a good focus on him. then they decide to kill him off, make a female version of him that isn't really him and is very evil-lite and are now implying that yes it really is him but she just hasn't gotten his memories plugged in yet... that kind of crap.
