Now that you say it, I get it. Haven't played DnD in years.

"Heres a tidbit on how stats go. You can start anywhere from 3-18 at first level. Then at every 4 levels you gain a ability score modifier you can spend on one of you 6 stats. So Batman imo would have a 17-18 Int score.23 would technically be the humn limit, but as I have Reed statted out at 16th level he could only otain a score of 22.I also have a 20 level cap, and use D20modern instead of D&D.Mr Fantastic (Reed Richards) Smart 3/Field Scientist 8/Master Tinkerer 5CR 16; Med sized enhanced human; HD 8d6+8d8+96 (HP 165); Init +6; Spd 30ft, Def 29; BAB +7; Grp +8; Full Atk +9/+4 (1d6+1 non lethal damage); SV Fort +12, Ref +14, Will +10, AP 8, Rep 8; Str 13, Dex 23, Con 23, Int 22, Wis 17, Cha 14; Height 6'1" Weight 180Starting Occupation; Technician (+1 knowledge earth and life science, physical science, technology)SQ; Carrying capacity 1 size larger, Elastic/rubber (may stretch and bend at incredible rates), +5 save vs MAS, DR 5/-Talents; Savant (craft mechanical), Jury rig +4, Build robot (small, med, large), A.I., Master craft x3, Smart weapon, Smart defense, Smart survival, Minor breakthrough, Skill mastery, Scientific improvisationSkills; Computer use +27, Craft (electronic) +26, Craft (mechanical) +29, Decipher script +22, Disable device +20, Navigate +10, Profession +15, Repair +22, Research +27, Spot +10, Listen +10, Knowledge (current events) +22, Knowledge (earth and life science) +28, Knowledge (history) +20, Knowledge (physical science) +28, Knowledge (popular culture) +20, Knowledge (technology) +28Feats; Renown, Dodge, Improved damage threshold, Brawl, Heroic surge, Builder, Gear head, Studious, Educated x2Wealth Bonus; 14Possessions; None"

"That stat block is taken from the Wazard of the Coast forumn boards yes. It's also a stat block I wrote useing thier system. I came here to ask this question instead of the Wizo sight because the people/comunity have a better feel for the characters imo.So does no one think that he should have a higher intelligence than a 22? I am haveing a hard time to justify him haveing a higher one so thats why I'm here. If no one think he should then thats fine too (less work for me)."
I don't know because that sounds like 3rd edition and I pretty much stopped playing when that came out (not because of it, just happened that way). Batman should be high level, he's been around for more than 60 years :)

"armedeus cho? where would he be? he runs rings around superhumans because of his intellegence"
From what I've seen I think Amadeus would be considered superhuman intelligence. When they say he is the 7th smartest person on the planet they may be including superhumans in that number, and that would make him extremely smart.

"d20 can not appropriately scale comic heroes, especially d20 Modern. I have been playing/running and writing D&D for over 27 years. Just to give you an idea Supes STR = 305 on the d20 scale (going by the famous 200 Quadrillion tones press) "
When I played D&D and AD&D the highest strength a human could have was 18(00). Anybody else play those rules? Did you like it?

I was there at Gen Con when they were first discussing the Extreme Human Limits of adding the percentages to to Str:18. That was a very long time ago.
Andferne says:
"See with Supes and a crap load of other heavy lifters you let them have a effective carrying capacity (what they have a light, med, heavy loads, as well as lift over head, off ground, push drag)as a colossal quadruped. So that takes thier effecive Str and find thier normal carrying then times it by 24. It makes scaleing Supes and Thors Hulk etc str a lot easier."
That does not make a very big difference, even with that Sups Str as a Colossal+ Quadraped Push/Drag load would still need to be = 225! That's a +108 STR BONUS!
Andferne says:
"You seem to know about D20 and etc, so I was wondering if you would give these a look over and give me your 2cents. I dont care for good or bad, just some constructive critisim would be helpful." />http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=859184"
I will, but I am at work and need to leave now. I will look at them over the weekend and let you know on Monday (when I return to work).
Has anybody converted comic book characters to other game systems like Champions or Mutants and Masterminds ?
Infernopool says:
"What happened to 19-21?"
Basic & Advanced D&D no stat went over 18. In Master-Deity Level stats of 19-25 were added.
In AD&D 1st & 2nd edition, it was possible through magic to gain stats 19+
In D&D 3.0/3.5 Stat limits were removed. Stats can go from 0-infinity. Although no written creature or even god exceeds about 120 (and that is only in STR).
