Cover The cover I enjoyed. I really made me want to pick up the issue. Story A girl is in a jail and another person talks to her from the cell next to her. She picked the wall with her own bone. The girl in the jail saw that the person next to her wrote the hour of our release draws near. Back at the school Casey has a discussion about Jade with the headmistress and Casey says that she needs to release Jade but, the headmistress just ignores her. While Casey tries to find out where Jade is, Jade is getting checked out by the nurse. Pros: Weird enough, this issue starts in the year 1490 in a prison possibly somewhere in Spain with a woman talking to another person behind the walls and she see the words, "The hour of our release draws near". This shows up a few times, and somehow play some role throughout this issue and is probably in this series. Back in the present, the mystery and craziness doesn't end in Morning Academy. The Hour of Release Draws Near 0
The issue starts off in an interesting manner where we see a woman trapped in a prison in 1490, trying to communicate with the person in the next room. Flash forward to the present day where Jade is taken to some weird examining room and Casey is trying to figure out what happened to her. I felt really bad for Jade in this issue, but I also wonder what will happen to her. It was interesting to see the Spanish woman try to save her in the laboratory, and how this storyline interconnects with the...

Morning Glories is going to be a pretty short series at this rate. Casey Blevins has already learned that the Morning Glory Academy has sinister intentions, and this issue Jade wakes up in the infirmary and overhears Miss Dagney and Nurse Nine discussing evil plans - so pretty much the cat is out of the bag for her too.The issue pretty much exclusively focuses on Casey and Jade's parallel stories - Casey comes to accept there are sinister doings afoot, but powerless to actually do anything, she ...
