Origin
Being a princess, Mira Nova is heir to the throne of the planet Tangea. She became a Space Ranger against her father's wishes, because she was inspired by how Star Command saved her planet.
Her race is very aristocratic and tend to look down on most other races, something she dislikes. This stems largely from the Tangeans' innate ability to phase through solid matter, causing them to consider any race that can't do the same as less advanced than themselves. It is revealed in the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command series that her race evolved from squishy blue blobs.
Mira's father often makes attempts to convince her to quit being a Space Ranger and sometimes insults her team members, calling them "Monkeys In Space Suits."
